No offense, but Sylvia has ten times more personality and attitude than Imogen.

There's no doubting she's a beautiful woman and I agree her lack off appreciation is quite surprising, but I'm pretty much in it for the long haul... I'll be appreciating unless she turns into a complete cow.

None taken I agree Sylvia has more personality and attitude that Imogen, I still liked her but she wasn't my favourite.

I really like Sylvia as I stated on Launch Night; hopefully she doesn't get too carried away with the wedding twist like Alex is as they're becoming quite close. I really like Alex too by the way!

Hope Sylvia sticks by Davina's comment on Launch that she wants to win and will be doing some impressive game playing over the course of BB.

She's getting on well with most it seems, hopefully this bodes well for her! I do like Alex, think she gets OTT responses from some, but maybe her early eviction would be best for Sylvia in some ways? Association with the "hate figure" is almost always a death sentence

I agree with both of you.

I think it'd be great if Sylvia was a really strong contender in terms of game-playing... Grace was doing brilliantly until Susie arrived and nominated her - she only did that because of public opinion. So if we have her scheming and really playing the game and no new arrival nomination twists, she could do very well.

And I know what you mean about assosciation with the villians of the series. Nicky and Tracey signed their own eviction warrents by getting involved with Charley last year. Let us all just hope Sylvia steers clear of Alex...

I think it was good of Sylvia to admit her suspicions to Stephanie's face. Better than only bitching behind her back.

I liked that too. I'd much rather a hm go and tell another hm if they have a problem or whatever than bitch to everyone else.

If Sylvia sticks to this she could be in there til the end.

Oh, hi to everyone

Bringing Susie in has to be without a doubt the worst BB decision ever! Grace was an amazing game player and in the end it was all about winning and getting far in the house, unlike Makosi (who I feel was her predecessor) who eventually seemed obsessed with attention. I feel like Grace could have lasted a month longer than if the Golden Ticket twist had not been installed.. they seriously need to stop these stupid twists anyway.

Anyway, back to Sylvia! Really like her, and Alex. But really, really dislike Dennis.

Completely agreed. Honesty is the best policy.

I think the next big gameplayer of the show could very well be Sylvia... she just has that edge about her and I can imagine her being ruthless when the times comes. Of course, we're bound to have new housemates entering at some stage. If Sylvia's still knocking around, I imagine they'll all be ready to nominate her.

Personally, I can't stand Dennis or Alexandra. They may have a lot of promise in terms of entertainment, but they're not the housemates I thought they would be...

She's easily the most beautiful girl in there this year!
I'd put her in my top 3 best looking bb babes of alltime.

I can totally understand Sylvia's anger at the whole underwear thing, yet I fear she will be crucified because of it

Could you explain what happened, Alexos? I didn't catch it...
Alexos
08-06-2008
Sure, though I only caught the aftermath, but from what I can gather, Michael took Sylvia's underwear and put them on in an attempt to make a joke, but this did not sit well with Sylvia or Alex. They have since been accused of bullying Michael, and while I think Alex went on a bit too much, I don't see what's wrong with Sylvia being angry about this.

Well Alex sticks her nose into everyone's business, so that's no surprise. And if Michael had asked Sylvia if he could wear them, it would've been much more polite, respectable and wouldn't have caused an argument... I guess she'll be the villian of the whole thing no matter what, so I'm not expecting to be surprised.

Thanks for informing me.

Sylvia and Dale Plus Alex Dennis seems like a group forming there along with Jennifer though she is more out than in.

I hope we don't end up with another group of 'Plastics'. Especially if Sylvia's involved...

Sounds like Sylvia had a really hard childhood

I found tonight pretty uncomfortable to watch, but I'm going to keep an open mind and see what Sylvia has to offer in the coming days.

Alex's tone was uncomfortable, but I didn't find anything Sylvia said out of order.

I was interested in hearing Sylvia's experiences in Sierra Leone, despite the fact they were horrific.

Her experiences back in Sierra Leone sound absolutely horrible! Really looked at one point like she was going to cry. I think she is a really, really interesting housemate that we cannot afford to lose. She also may end up being one of the only housemates who can keep Alex's temper under control, like the incident in the Diary Room when Sylvia agreed with BB and told Alex to rest her voice, which was then followed by Alex relaxing a bit more and having a laugh.

Both of them are really interesting, diverse people (unlike the majority of the board, I do not class Alex as a 'wannabe Charley'). Alex clearly has sense in her head and knows full well of Charley's abysmal popularity in BB8.

Anywaay, I felt Sylvia was justified last night; it's clear she would have had that angry reaction with any of the male housemates, NOT just Michael (I could see the Ofcom lovers rushing to the phones as the event happened!).

Syvlia ftw.. for now.

I'm still liking Sylvia at the mo. Wish she'd stay away from Alex though.
