Hi guys
I brought a DTI6300-16 from Tesco 79.97 last week but after spending 5 days and a new box later I still only pickup 66 channels. (Upgraded to v2.91 over air) It appears to pick up 6 mux's when tunning and 88 chan's but in the tunning menu the are only 4 listed missing 32 and 34 (Mux D and 1). So no BBC1,2,3 and Film4 etc.
I have tried it at several houses and all were the same. I told my son about it as he has the same box and he unfortunately re-tuned and now also has 66 chans.
I heard the Sutton mast has just been upgraded to 8K and this has also caused my old Echostar to go haywire after I re-tuned that in (as part of problem solving the 6300).
Anyway I took the 6300 to my brothers who lives nr Manchester and it tuned perfectly into Winter hill without a problem. So its a Sutton Coldfield problem.
So advance warning don't re-tune in the Sutton area unless you can afford the risk of loosing 22 channels.
As a footnote my Digifusion FVRT200 and Goodmans GD83 both tune in and work perfectly on Sutton Coldfield.
