How do It feels right to be supporting the underdog. I think Mikey is going to turn round a lot of people's opinions of him as the series progresses.

I'm really liking Michael. He's definately in the running to win from what I've seen so far... I'm not sure I'd like him to win because it would all be a little too predictable, what with him being blind et al. Nevertheless, I still think he's a lovely person.

I'm hoping Mikey will be this year's Brian on DS - very little support to start with, then gathering momentum as the show progresses. I know the guy comes over as a bit strange sometimes, but that's understandable. He's got a lot of potential, so long as he manages to keep out of Sylvia's knickers in the future

It's been great watching Mikey on the show. You can tell he's really grateful to everyone for their help, and he didn't have a bad word to say about anyone in the Diary Room.

His diary room convo I found quite perceptive ... then back on the forum to see numerous threads shrilly announcing this proof positive of his creepiness/general unpleasantness. Now knickergate, WTF happened to cause that over-reaction?

I think the stuff that has been wrote about him on the main forum are a bit harsh

Well am not one for for Ap threads, but am joining this one if I can, as my amazing 13 year old son is blind, leads a normal life, is not different or weird but sorted and fantastic. Ok I,m prejudiced, cos I love him, but I am over the moon there is a blind person in the house and cant wait to see how he copes.

I think the perception of so many people is coloured by Hollywood movies and such, where anyone with a disability automatically takes on a saintly role. For me, Mikey is showing that he's just a regular guy with foibles, rough edges and a possible streak of deviance I would have hated another 'perfect Pete' clone. Mikey isn't afraid to speak his mind and make enemies. Fair play to Alex, she was just as vile to him as she is to anyone else she takes a dislike to

I don't like Mikey as of yet, but I'm not disliking him, and any housemate who manages to own Alexandra can only be progressing in a good way!

Alexandra and Sylvia last night. Sure, Sylvia had every right to be a bit pissed off but she didn't need to keep going on and on, and Alexandra was just VILE! "My name's Alex, don't forget it."

Apart from that, I thought Mikey showed some great humour as the bunny.
