Sam Barks recorded this album in 2007, and went on to perform the songs as support to the Sugababes and ex-Busted star Matt Willis. Samantha performed track 3 "Nothing Else" at the Malta International TV Song Festival which she went on to win as Best Singer. She is now one of the finalists in BBC1's "I'd do Anything"
About the Artist
Born on the Isle of Man, Sam began dancing at the age of three. She studied ballet, modern and tap with Dancers Barre, then Stagecoach, Theatrix and the Manx Ballet Company. She studies singing, musical theatre and drama and is a member of the Manx Operatic Society. She is currently studying theatre at Arts Ed. in London. Previous theatre credits include Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, The Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, The Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Dancing in Coppelia, La Boutique Fantasque, La Sylphide, The Nutcracker, Dick Whittington and Cinderella, Robinson Crusoe, Rizzo in Grease, a Hot Box Girl in Guys and Dolls, Cyndi Gibson in Back to the 80 s and she understudied Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde.Her film credits include Jimmy Spud, Chromophobia and David Jason s ITV production The Final Quest where she had a singing role. She co-wrote several of the songs on her debut album Looking in your Eyes , and has performed the songs with her band to many thousands of people, including when she supported the Sugababes and Matt Willis, and also when she sang during a Strictly Dancing Exhibition featuring Lilia Kopylova and Darren Bennett. She entered the Malta International TV Song Festival, representing the Isle of Man, and won the main prize of 2,000 euros and the title of Best Foreign Singer. She sang Nothing Else from her album Looking In Your Eyes .

My guess would be she'll go down the pop star route if given the opportunity.
