I caught the end of the paper review on Sky News about 10 minutes ago and they were talking about an inteview with Helene Speight in one of tomorrow's papers. I didn't catch which one.

She's saying that the candidates were treated like cattle and that there was no consideration for their welfare and well being.

I think we can safely assume she was fired.

Now why doesn't it surprise me she would have something to moan about.

Well if that is the case, I'd certainly agree with you...no way would someone who had been hired say anything like that.

Good. She should never have made the final in the first place.

But didn't Helene say she wanted to be challenged outside of her comfort zone?

Can anyone provide the quote by Helene on her CV. It goes something like "I've dipped my toe in to the....and now want to dive into the ocean of..."

I've stir fried my memory in my thought wok but still can't rememeber her classic

Oh yes, it certainly looks like she was living rough while staying in that pent house.

I remember it off by heart, unfortunately.

"I've dipped my toe in the sea of success and now want to dive into the ocean of opportunity."

Thanks for this.

I don't think I'll ever forget it now!

Well for someone who is 'ballsy' and works in a male dominated 'carprut environment' she is very sensitive to the niceties of life such as how big her office is and whether she gets a cup of tea or not.

That quote made me cringe and reach for a bucket.

You certainly don't need a vivid imagination to think what the reaction would have been on here if that had been a quote from Lucinda's CV.

It actually sounds more like something 'hyperboLee' would say, except it would have problem been written as:

"I've dipt my tow in the see of sussex and now want to dive into the otion of operatunety."

Actually, the crucial points to be made about Helene's newspaper piece are that:

1. It is the in The People

2. It is based on "a conversation with a friend"

Shocked that such a 'ballsy woman' would need a boob job to appear on tv.

So can we assume that on this basis her and Alex lost and therefore the final two will be Claire and Lee. This is the outcome most people are expecting and hoping for (i.e. Claire and Lee - the least worst out of the last 4)

In the end I hope Lee wins - if only because Lucinda is backing him

Not only twee, but also unoriginal. There are several religious sites which mention the "sea of success" and "ocean of opportunity". Helene failed to mention the "shore of satisfaction" though.

Well having been in the "estuary of expectation" she may find herself in the "delta of disappointment" or the "lagoon of losers".
