This has just been posted by Tamara on the BB4 Updates thread. Once again, I feel that this deserves a thread of its own !

-----------------------------------------------

• JADE Goody was devastated last night after her hunky lover dumped her because she accused HIM of being a dimwit.
• The astonishing insult from Jade, 22 - notorious for her brainless remarks on Big Brother - was the last straw for Jeff Brazier.
• The TV presenter stormed out of their luxurious new home last week and left Jade holding their two-month-old son Bobby Jack.
• The fiery-tempered brunette hasn't seen Jeff, 24, for days and has been desperately ringing round friends and relatives trying to track him down.
• A pal of the couple told The People: "Jeff has done a runner and doesn't seem to want anything more to do with her
• "After nearly a week of no contact she is having to accept it's over, but wants to make sure Jeff acts as a father to their baby. He has responsibilities after all.
• "They've been rowing for weeks but she went completely over the top in the last one by accusing him of being 'slow'.
• Their year-long romance started falling apart after jack-the-lad Jeff...
• CHEATED on Jade with a busty blonde in a hotel in St Albans, Herts, just weeks before Jade gave birth.
• FLEW OFF on a lads' holiday to Puerto Banus in Spain where he boozed and ogled topless beauties shortly after his son's premature birth.
• REFUSED to curb his partying lifestyle while Jade struggled to cope with Bobby Jack.
• "She is a doting mum and is determined that he has a normal family life, something she never had when she was growing up. Jade has told Jeff to cut back on his boys' nights out but the message doesn't seem to have worked.
• Last night Jade was alone at her home, but insisted:"We are fine. No problems at all."
• But later she admitted:"I actually don't know where he is at the moment. "
• The collapse of the romance could also threaten the couple's lucrative magazine and TV deals worth an estimated £1.5 million.

Well, Jeff is certainly being portrayed as the baddie. All we need now is for Jade's mum, Jacky, to join in the hunt for him and we could have a great docu-soap, The Goody, The Baddie and The Ugly

( I know, I know, but the same stories keep coming around )

Me too, in this instance.
We could go through the 'I told you so's', 'I could see it coming' etc. but if this story is true then Jade will need all the support she can get right now.

Hopefully we can all agree on that, whatever we think of Jade !!

Apart from anything else he deserves hounding down for that god-awful TV show he does with June Sarpong.

I do feel sorry for her. It was quite clear that she was sincere in her feelings for Jeff. Poor Jade genuinely felt that she had found 'it' !

Much as I am no fan of Jade, I am sorry to hear this news, particularly because of the baby, but, honestly, is anyone remotely surprised?

No no real surprises, just dashed hopes.

We are behind you Jade!

Hmmmm The Jade PR wagon has kicked in I see.........Maybe if she hadn't got pregnant after only a month of the relationship she would have noticed that he was only after boosting his own career............Although some normally sensible people were fooled as well, falling over each other to pour praise on their fantastic relationship which was a farce to begin with......

A couple of points

"She is a doting mum and is determined that he has a normal family life, something she never had when she was growing up. Jade has told Jeff to cut back on his boys' nights out but the message doesn't seem to have worked.

Being arrested drunk driving is certainly the sign of a doting mum.

The collapse of the romance could also threaten the couple's lucrative magazine and TV deals worth an estimated £1.5 million.

As ever Jade is valued as a commodity.....It always boils down to the money.....Kerching....And this is why I feel no shame or remorse for being vindictively evil and heaping scorn and bile over Jade....She's doing rather well from it and clearly has no intention of cashing in.....I don't doubt she's already sold her soul.......

Jeff's a toad and no matter what anyone thinks of Jade, it's a real shame for the kid

I'm glad you're all there with some support for Jade. I think when you have had a hard or unhappy childhood it makes it so much more important for you to give your own child a 'perfect' upbringing.

I really hope she can make a go of it on her own, I remember reading a couple of months ago about Jeff having some kind of affair - she's seems to be better off without him.

That's easy enough for us to say, but I doubt Jade feels like that this moment in time, she must be devastated, I'm not so sure she is better off without him anyway. I don't know what went wrong with their relationship, there could be many factors. But Jeff needs to grow up a bit and face his responsibilities, not just walk out on Jade and the baby when the going gets tough. Like it or not Jeff has responsibilities and should face them, wheather that means a future with jade or not who knows, but he needs to sort it out with her, instead of running away.

Love or loathe Jade, and she may not be entirely blameless, what Jeff has done is wrong and I just hope they sort it out soon.

Indeed it is Beccie....Which is why after Jade's miserable childhood (where in fact I believe the story is she spent so much time with her mother she couldn't go to school) she went and got pregnant after only a month, scarcely giving any relationship with the father a chance and was very recently arrested some distance away from her baby having a drunken row with the afformentioned partnet............So even though it makes it more important to give your childhood the "perfect" upbringing it would appear Jade is failing to do so, despite the chances she's been given........

I see Jade as one of life's tragic figures. She has a good, kind heart always caring for the others in her life. She works hard at improving her lot in life, making the most of the few chances that life has offered her.

Yet, despite everything, Jade, through no fault of her own, fails. I rank her alongside Othello and King Lear.......

Okay Eejay.....I sense I'm being teased.....I doubt that King Lear had the good sense to get onto his agent as soon as he busted up with Jeff to get the best deal from a Sunday newspaper

Have a good day Mesostim ! I'm back this evening, I have the rather dubious pleasure of a day out, walking in the bloody countryside, with my brother and his family..... in this weather

I'm not surprised at all...I'm afraid the split was a case of when not if.

Jeffs association with Jade has been profitable for him as it provided money, a media profile and (probably though Jade's C4 contacts) a TV career. But was it love and attraction or did Jeff use Jade's fame and wealth for his own gain? At a time when the media were dubbing Jade " Fat Bitch and Were-Pig", Jeff has admitted that he didn't fancy Jade. Yet within weeks of leaving the BB house, Jeff had moved her in and she was pregnant.

Three things about their relationship recently worried me. Firstly (as we will see at the end of Celebrity Wife Swap to be screened next month), Jade and Jeff can argue for Britain.

Secondly - it's the widely reported that Jeff hasn't been faithfull. Thirdly - the 'drink-drive' incident. Although I do not know the facts - I do know that the two were both under the drink-drive limit and not charged. The police were only called by a member of the public because of the intensity of the roadside argument, not dodgy driving. Just speculation, but I wonder if, perhaps, they were arrested for their own protection??

Having a baby is very stressful and couples splitting up because of the pressure they are under isn't uncommon. Some dads do find fatherhood difficult, especially young dads. Maybe it's just a case of readjustment to parenthood.

But if not and there is something more serious going on - Jade is best off out of the relationship if it's a bad relationship. Jade's family seems to be full of strong women who communicate their emotions well. (see pages 26,27 in heat this week).

As for it being a threat to tabloid deals etc. - The People are wrong - in the long term it won't be damaging for Jade at all. The first time she's seen on a date with a new man, the pap will go crazy. She'll also join the ranks of Celeb Single Mums with Babies. (Liz Hurley, Mel B, Sadie Frost etc). Jeff on the other hand will only get back in the glossies if he starts dating Darren Day.

My fear for them now is the smug, snobbish backlash from those who will be gleeful about the fact that the relationship has come to a sorry end and other dad doesn't live with his baby (which will probably be led by tabloid editors and certain former BB3 housemates).

Whatever the outcome of all this, single motherhood or sorting things out with Jeff - I wish Jade and her baby well.

Sit down Mes, this might come as a bit of a shock but mummies can't get pregnant on their own.

You see Mesostim, sometimes, mummies and daddies have have a special sort of cuddle together and the daddy puts a special seed in the mummy's tummy....and the seed gets bigger and bigger....

Men and women are both responsible for their contraception - especially early in relationships when trying a new forms on contraception. But then when women get accidentally pregnant - our crap society usually blamed women, not men for the contraceptive failure.

Practice Double Dutch - that's what I say!

Aha - With this new information I shall readress mine and Missustim's efforts...I was waiting for a stalk to arrive....Of course Jade and Jeff are equally culpable in their attempts to seal the profitable relationship......It doesn't make either any more or less responsible does it.......?
