Shazia was only following orders after all - and if she had disagreed Jenny probably would have turned on her for that too.
I think they both deserved to be fired. In fact, that's the theme of this programme, that even if others deserved to go more, the person who did go had made a big enough mistake to warrant it.

(But Shazia wasn't ordered to go. She asked for permission. It was Shazia idea and Shazia's choice and there was no element of her being made to leave against her better judgement. Jenny didn't have her eye on the ball enough for that.)

For me it's less a question of whether he was the apprentice than whether he deserved to be given the elbow over Michael. And I think most people would say he didn't.
Oh, absolutely! 100% agreed.

I can see why people might take a drop in salary but I genuinely can't see why anyone who runs successful businesses and works for themself would ever want to work for someone else
I don't agree. I actually don't know why anyone who works in a successful company all his life might take a drop in their salary to work for another company which is probably less successful. The only reason I can think is media attention.

On the other hand, those who run their own businesses might want to learn how SAS run his (more successful) business. These people have worked for themselves all their lives and never had the chance to see how big companies operate. They might have done well on their own businesses but they aren't able to do better because they lack the experience.

It is improtant to get the sale and I think the way you do it is irrelevant in the apprentice.
I'd agree with you entirely, but do you remember the fruit and veg task in series 2? When the women's team got dressed up and flirted a bit in order to get their produce given to them free or at a low cost? It worked like a charm. Suralan was not a happy camper, despite the ''girls'' having outperformed the ''boys'' by a huge margin.

Then there was the 'exclusivity deal' in this series that got Lindi/Jen Maguire in hot water. I thought Suralan's eyes were gonna bulge out of his head, the way he carried on!

They won the task didn't they?!!! So it actually didn't affect the result. For series 2 the two finalists were women who actually contributed to that win.

It was necessary for SAS to express his discomfort with the ways the women adopted to win the task. Otherwise, he would have lost a lot of credibility. However, when it came to results the women won which confirms my point of the importance of getting the sales.

Remember in series 3, Kristina suggested the kissogram as a business idea and she was the main contributer. Did it affect her? She was in the finals and SAS offered her a job after losing to Simon but she declined.

Quite!

But you will notice one or two people on this board think that while they are able to make negative comment on candidates they don't rate, no one is allowed to make negative comments on a candidate they like.
