Some very interesting comments on there, most notably from Paul Torrisi, and I think I would agree that this is one reality TV programme it may well actually be better to be a runner up if you come across well on the show, in terms of the opportunity' s it can bring you.

Good article that has the thoughts from some of the Series 1 & 2 contestants..

Interesting quotes too

..the show is a completely misleading picture of what business is actually like
...the apprentice was a complete total utter waste of time. Its about manipulation and creating conflict
it presents a false picture of business. I learnt nothing from Sir Alan, partly because he was never there
the trouble with the show is that it is edited in such a brutal way that what you see totally misrepresents the contestants.
the view is that this current series is thought to be much more Big Brother in style/contestant than before its interesting to see that manipulation was there from the start..

You go on the Apprentice, then you you leave. Simple. There's some journalism for you in a well-rounded nutshell, minus the BS.

I'm quite sure there is some truth about their comments, but I take them some what with a pinch of salt...I'm sure you could easily find just as many people who would say positive things about their experiences on the show.

Whose view??

Sirallun has required a much higher level of candidate for this and the last series. He - at the end of the day - has to employ one of them.

Its the EDITING that concentrates on what makes the best telly. Remember, we see only about 2% of the filming. The program makers WILL for entertainment reasons concentrate on any conflict, on the basis that that makes better TV.

Unfortunately by showing mostly the conflict within the filming it brings out the mob mentality in SOME of the viewers. A few of the candidates have been hero worshiped and anyone who does or says anything against them is shot down as hopeless. Sad really because I love the show but cannot get into it at that level

The article has Ansell as a Series 1 contestant... wasn't he Series 2?
