wishful thinking
![]() Does that make me evil - probably. ![]() ![]() If Alex does win I assume next year's Apprentice will have few viewers - a goodly number have threatened to boycott the programme for ever and ever if he succeeds. Last edited by Ignazio : 09-06-2008 at 15:01. Reason: added to post. |

I think it's likely to come down to Claire and Lee.

My mind is with Lee and my money is with Claire. I hope Lee wins because he seems like a nice geezer.

Claire has to win to give this programme an ounce of credibility.

I hope he does - I'm dying to log on to the forum to read the righteous indignation, accompanied by the apoplexy and burst blood vessels of the Alex haters.

A bit like the Luicinda fans are at the moment. I haven't laughted so much in years as I am reading their outrage on here. Dare anyone say a bad thing about Saint Lucy
Hilarious.com![]() I liked Lucinda, Raef and Simon- but their dismissal hardly compares with 3rd world famine, global warming or the war in Iraq. |

I think they're all crap finalists this year. But if I had to guess Sir Alan's choice - I say Lee.
Sir Alan had the perfect opportunity to get rid of him last week, but didn't. He must be one of his favourites. |

I fear Alex will win. He's not had a negative word said about him by Sir Al, Margaret or Nick recently
I just fail to see it, I really do c'est la vie, the only person I've ever supported that's won anything has been Alesha on Strictly Come Dancing. My vote is usually the kiss of death for any candidate - perhaps I should support Alex after all

I think Alex will lose, because all the praise of him has been faint. He's a good salesman and, well, that's it.
I can't decide about Helene. I think the praise for her as also been a bit faint, and the edit has not been kind. Lee had overtaken Claire for me, but lying on his CV, and again in interview, spoiled it. Could you really trust what he said in future? |

The winner is....Siralan..who else? All the free publicity.
I think he'll sack them all (they are a pretty poor bunch) and bring back Michael! |

Maybe the Op went to the recording of the "You're Fired" and the "You're Hired" shows and knows

Helene was invisible. Lee and Alex were obnoxious at times, childish at others and essentially are not very bright or able to communicate. His logical choices are down to one - which probably means someone else will get it.

Lee explained how he felt his education history let him down especially as most of the others were well educated. I can forgive him that.

Apparently it was filmed last night (according to Jonathan Ross' brother on This Morning), so maybe some spoilers will start to leak out today.

His problem is that his lack of education is his problem. Why give him £100,000 when you could employ 11 year olds with more ability at presenting or writing?
Computers have spell check and you don't need to write to type so with a short course those obstacles can be overcome. It's his basic instincts and his hard work and determination that have got him this far and may win him the series |
