Did anyone else watch SAS try to justify his decisions on Sunday night

It was on very late. Looked to me just another excuse to get some air time. There was nothing new or reveling in it. Interesting that he felt the need to reiterate his decisions.

Yeah, I know quite a people on this board felt the same....it was a bit of a waste of time really, all in all. The only thing I liked about it was the chance to look back on some of the clips from the series. I was particularly bemused that even in retrospect he couldn't see he had made any kind of a mistake when he fired Shazia....

I got the impression it was just more from the interviews they show clips of in 'You've Been Fired' - no new material at all.

He described the 12 that had been ejected so far as useless etc. If so then how were they selected fro the final 16?
He must have realised he was denigrating his own selection process because, after slagging each of them off at some time, he suddenly said "The final four are all outstanding candidates" What a volte face.

Time for Big Al to go.

I felt gutted that it was just a rehash of the last 11 episodes with the clips shot for you've been fired slotted in.

Nothing new what so ever.

I still think he was wrong in week 2, however had he fired Jenny then we'd have lost the greeting card entertainment and the kosha chicken fiasco

He did admit he was wrong leaving Michael in so long. Unfortunately that was all he admitted. Incidentally I still don't think Shazia was blameless but let's not go there

The greeting card task would still have been entertaining; they might have gone with a better idea, but Kevin would still have insisted on presenting it and making a complete bollocks of it.

I'll grant you the kosher chicken though.

Even tho' SrAlan had this opportunity to explain his decisions, he still failed to justify why Helene got into the final. He said in the boardroom they were all worthy finalists, but I reckon he wanted Claire in the final, he couldn't decide between Lee and Alex so he kept both, and he needed Helene to even up the numbers.

Under the rather closer scrutiny of BBC Breakfast, SAS has just admitted Raef shouldn't have been fired after the advertising task and that he doesn't always get everything right.....

No, I didn't watch it because I'm not interested any more, and there was probably something better on the other side. I'm not interested in anything he's got to say. This is the first Apprentice I've seen (never watched any of the other series,) and after this fiasco, I won't be wasting my time watching it again.

Don't even know if I can be bothered to watch the final, I might if there's nothing else on but I don't like any of the 4 finalists, I started losing interest when he got rid of Raef, and now that Lucinda's gone, well..............................it's just boring

Yes, you can justify anything if you omit to tag others who are similar, or worse.

As we say so often, it's all in the editing.

I watched it even though I knew he'd be spewing utter bilge.

Didn't disappoint either.

Funnily enough, I think (much as I like Raef) that that's one he did get right. Is he still holding the line on Shazia and Sara?
