I need a simple video sender and have seen thru Google that there are so many available, mostly at the same price of £29.99 oddly (a cartel?)

Maplin are currently selling the GigaAir 2727 for £24.99 (£5 off). Any views on this model or any other, good or bad?
Thanks for any advice on what to look out for.

The 2.4 gig senders can be affected by wireless broadband - I had to stop using mine when one of my neighbours put in a wireless CCTV camera -all I could see was a nice pic of a caravan.

I have found video senders to be hit and miss but stumbled across one I now use regularly , have recommended to friends ...its reliable and does the job, the Digisender from AEI ( you will pick it up in Argos )

Hi,
I have had 3 video senders in the past 2 years all of which ended up on EBay! I live in new build townhouse with 3 floors, TV/Sky on ground floor & bedroom on top floor, to be honest the reception similiar to watching through wire wool on 2 the other just wouldnt work.

I have since got a mate who does this for a living to basically run the Sky signal through the analogue TV point in living room and connects to tv point in bedroom which gives me a great picture and full control of Sky+ with Sky controller. I wasnt aware this was possible but am glad it is! Cost £40 for install and extra Sky+ remote.

I'm sure there are many others who have good posts about video senders, just my input..

Cheers

haha the same happened to me but it was pointing towards a car & the road Im not a perv or anything but the person has a view of a window, is it illegal for a camera to view someones window as is not aimed at the window but at the top has another houses window?
