Sara did produce one brilliant (imo) quote:

"I feel like telling Claire 'Just shut the f*** up!'"

Thanks for doing this thread, I think the list does show what the general opinions of the candidates were. If only the actual process had worked out this way!

Glad you enjoyed it....

I actually have more stats that I could have used but I thought it would bore people to tears....

Thanks Mutley

I'm happy with the result and I always find things like this very interesting.

Thanks for crunching the numbers, Muttley. Interesting to see the result - which isn't far out from what I feel myself. Glad to see lovely Sara so close to the top! And sweet to see loathesome Jenny get the resounding raspberry she deserves!

Excellent result - my three favourites in the top three! After backing the wrong people in I'd do anything and the Apprentice it is good to find that others in the digital world agree with my choices!

Great work on the Poll Muttley. VERY happy that Raef came in first. And rightfully so too. Definitely the best candidate in all of the series put together.

I know Jenny C's best moment

Good result! The Top 4 were my favourites

If anyone wants to take this a little further then my All Time Ranking tournament can always do with my votes

I know I spoiled my ballot paper - but at least I had Raef at the top!

Pop into the champagne thread - and we'll drink some flat M&C to Raef

..he would have had to hire all four

wow, it's amazing how much I disagree with the general opinion in here.

the only things I agree with is that Raef should have probably made the final (but not won imo) and that simon should have been given one more chance and made it further.

but seriously, how can alex rate worse than Nicholas? worse than kevin? lol no way. and how did sara get so far? she was awful!

Simple: Very few people like back stabbers.....

Nicholas messed up in the first task, true, but it's hard to judge him too much on that one event. Kevin was a twit but at least was amusing (albeit unintentionally....)

eta: he actually only had a few people less than Jenny C award him 0 points.

Remember, we were free to vote on the basis of whatever criteria we liked, and many will have marked candidates who were good performers but unpleasant people more harshly than the merely talentless.

Some would dispute your opinion of Sara, by the way

I think the top three is probably fairly accurate - though perhaps not in that order, they were definitely my favourite three candidates.

I do disagree regarding Sara though - I think it was unfortunate that she was victimised, but it seemed to me that she offered very little.

Yay for Raef! A thoroughly well-deserved winner and I do hope I get to see lots more of him on my telly. He was the best thing about this year's show and if he sticks around and gets a few more TV jobs out of it then this whole series was worth it, imo.

We all see things a bit differently, don't we? After all one or two people even gave Jenny C pretty high scores....

I think Sara actually was quite a creative person and often had good ideas, but she was quite often shushed up and undermined by more bolshy team mates that thought they knew better, when on a few occasions her ideas were much much better than theirs were....

Exactly, Muttley, exactly.

Not to mention her keeping costs under control when she was PM, supporting Simon when he was PM (the only one of that team who did) and her negotiating skills in Marrakesh (as singled out for praise by Nick).

I think the winning team in Marrakesh was the most impressive of the whole series....fantastic team work, good deals, and lots of common sense!

Oh of course - and I don't dispute that. However, what I proffered was my tuppence worth.

I would agree on that front actually. However, I think one of the reasons that I felt Sara was perhaps not fitting for Sir Alan's role of apprentice was the fact that she had severe difficulties with actually speaking the English language fluently.

If speaking fluent English was a criteria, how come Lee won?
