Where can I get Black Salsify from?
I have looked everywhere. The only place I have found sofar is the German Deli in London, where they sell them in a jar. I would love to have these fresh, as I haven't had them since I was a child.
They are called Schwarzwurzeln in German. Translated wiki page: http://translate.google.co.uk/transl...007-22,HPEA:en |

I think you're going to have to grow it yourself to be honest (Kings Seeds sell seeds for salsify and scorzonera).
You might get lucky in an upmarket place like Harrods food hall. |

I have picked some up fresh from Borough market in London before.
It is a winter vegetable isn't it? So probably a bad time of the year to be looking for it... |
