I do wonder if he will go into modelling after this. Surely he doesn't want to go back to Sainsburys?

Oh sorry, I didn't realise you knew him personally. I will go away and deal with my Alex hate immediately, you have shown me the light. Just in case you didn't get (being an Alex fan and all) I was being sarcastic.

Hallelujah - my work is done!

I do not know him personally, though I know someone who worked with him - but then neither do I know any other contestant, which is why I do not form extreme opinions about them. No doubt you get my drift - I don't love, hate, dismiss, deride or sneer at anyone I don't know.

Oh dear - to what depths will you sink to dismiss the opinions of those who could see something positive in Alex.

Not to worry - I'm sure bile is an acquired taste.

I can't imagine anything worse, scrawny excuse for a man. What was with the FAKE tears for the cameras. I was so happy when Siralun brought up the incident in the board room where he said Lucinda did not want the job. I think he got a fairly easy time on you've been fired. Although it was pretty obvious that Victoria Wood did not rate him. Horrible man.

Fake? Know that for a fact?

Ah well - if VW didn't rate him perhaps we should all make voodoo dolls and stick pins into him.

Get over it folks - the show is finished - he didn't win; does that make him the devil incarnate? Not in my eyes - but hey, takes one to know one.

You could tell that they weren't fake. He had nothing to gain so why 'pretend to cry?'

No, I mean what I wrote: SIMPER. Sorry if the verb is new to you, but English is my first language.

Simper: to smile in a silly, self-conscious way.

I don't see any problem with Alex crying, it was the culmination of a stressful process. Claire was tearful at times as well. Are those who are critical of him crying saying men shouldn't cry? Good grief, men cry at football results. Alex had been through a 12 week process where he'd given his all.

Yeah whats wrong with him crying. Simon cried during his task and i dont remember people saying that was bad then. For the record I couldnt stand Alex but did feel a bit sorry for him at the end.

Clearly, judging by the tone and content of your post, you would know.

I just found it funny to see him cry after all his moments of spite in the last twelve weeks.

alex was a spoilt pup. He got his come uppance. Hopefully he'll go back to obscurity. I really do not want to see his scrawny body in an underpants.

So did I - it was quite satisfying to watch. Didn't feel one iota of sympathy for the twerp!

I actually wanted him to be fired weeks ago - but that was before I realised how entertaining it would be to see him fall at the final hurdle and see his disappointment after all his backstabbing and weasling did nothing to help him win! I loved the way things turned out in the end.

I hate how the apprentice has just become anothe Big Brother style piece of rubbish.

Posing in Heat? Girls picking winners based on their looks? Obsession with 'hotness'.

Make it a business competition again please! Give our country back some intelligence and depth.

For the record; Alex was a whiny, skinny, horse-faced pansy.

I agree nothing wrong with a person crying be they male or female, they are human and it is a human emotion.

Alex did well to get to the final and he is okay, not perfect but he has great potential and I hope he does well in life. With maturity he will be a hell of a man so go Alex go
