Sir Alan Sugar always seems to make terrible decisions in the Final of the Apprentice.

In Series One, Saira probably should have won.

In Series Two, Sir Alan was presumably thinking with his c**k when he hired Michelle instead of the great Ruth Badger.

Series Three, Simon won against the excellent Kristina.

This Series, he's hired Lee, who can't present and lied in his application instead of Claire, who always took criticism and got better every week.

So, what do you think about Alan Sugar's decisions?

I don't think tonight was an injustice though to be honest. Lee did sort of deserve it. Last year was out of order though with Kristina not winning!

I think the last three years have for definate been a mistake however I won't take anything away from Lee (or the others) as he's done very well to get from the begining to here, although he was very early favourite.

You are forgetting that hes after an Apprentice not a finished article.

Lee was the perfect choice. Sir Alan always gets it right and thats why hes so rich.

The person I support through the entire process comes second every year. I've accepted it. I thought Claire deserved it and as usual didn't really understand SAS's decision, but I take comfort from the fact that the person coming second ultimately can have the far more successful career in the end... being able to take advantage of other offers that come through rather than being stuck in SAS's £100k a year job doing god knows what (not that I'd turn down £100k but it's not as fabulous as they sometimes make it sound during the run of the show). For example I don't think Tim would have suggested women's toiletries as his perfect job (or whatever the hell it was he ended up doing).

I do think Lee would have been struggling to really take advantage going forward from this point had SAS not hired him, so on that front I'm happy for him.

Yes and No
Yes - best candidate all round
No - doesn't deserve to be an "apprentice" she had alot more than that to offer same with badger. Simon was the obvious yes sir alan no sir alan aprentice.

Never liked Claire since how she was with Simon. Lee was the rightful winner

I've never been a big fan of Claire, I much preferred Lee but I thought Claire did better in that final task. I was quite impressed with her really. Don't think there was much between them, so no real injustice, but in that final I'd have picked Claire.

In an ideal world, we didn't hear from Claire at the end because at the end he kept her back and said "The show is The Apprentice, on this occassion my apprentice is Lee, and I'm sure he will be a good fit for the role. But that said, I'd like to offer you a position."

I direct you to Series 2

Lee was probably the most suited out of the final 4 but overall , several people fired before him deserved it more.

Agree. So much as I liked Lee, how can you give a £100k a year city job to someone who doesn't even have literacy skills? Mixed feelings really because i'm well pleased for him and believe he wanted it more than anybody else, but Claire had more all round talent.

Still, for me the most controversial decision will always be Dewberry pipping the Badger. Still waking up in shock about that two years after.

£100k a year city job? Sir Alan is good but he isn't that good. The £100k year bit might be right but I didn't think Sir Alan's HQ was in the city. I think we sometimes exagerate our imaginations of how big Sir Alan's companies are and how big a job this is.

Michelle made sense but on her CV. He wanted someone to set up a business recycling computers to overseas - she had set up call centres for UK companies overseas. The skills match was ideal.

Simon was posh looked the part but was decidedly weak - Lee is the opposite extreme, doesn't look the part and is even weaker.

I am gutted Claire didn't win.

I cannot believe he chose Lee.

I saw many failings in Lee, to name a few:-

He lied on his CV
He is c**p at presenting
What about the tirade he gave to poor Sara back at the house?
When they had the car task he made the BIG mistake of himself and Alex working together, leaving Lucinda on her own. As Lucinda was by her own admission, not good at sales, he should have appointed either Alex or himself to work with Lucinda.

Claire was excellent and totally unlike all the other horrible females that we have seen in this series, not bitchy, not nasty and took all the criticism on board.

I hope she does better by becoming the runner up.

After hearing the job spec, Sir Alan did pick the right person. The job sounds way below Claires abilities.

He lied on his CV
So did every single one of the others. Just Lee was unlucky that his got found out.

He is c**p at presenting
He's improved already and will get better.

When they had the car task he made the BIG mistake
His team won by a massive amount so he lead it excellently.

Totally agree. Claire can do better than Amstrad, which in all honesty has a terrible reputation for making crappy electronics. I'm sure Lee will fit right in under people's thumbs.

I heared that Essex County Council are offering the runner-up a job - Hopefully Claire will take it, goodness knows ECC need someone with ideas!

Where has it been said that they have ALL lied on their CVs?

Yes he has improved but there is no comparison to Claire

Finally how can you justify he lead his team "excellently" Yes he won but he certainly was not a good leader. A good team leader would look at their team strengths and weaknesses and utilise the skills of the team appropiately.

"I'm a good jewish boy" being just one of many examples that other contestants lied on their CV's. It was not just Lee, pretty much everyone does.
