I expect to see a giant garish "Atishu!" advert in a few months then.

Hope he learns how to use a spell checker before he starts beaming messages to the whole of London.

Coming off the rails presenting could mean he hits the buffers and puts a brake on his career....

Good joke, but I don't think that the company that owns those Tube screens is going to be very amused if he did (it's not Sir Alans outfit)

Actually, it's a job that would suit Lee's strengths admirably (and to some extent, Claire's as well) - success in that kind of venture is primarily based on sales ability - and especially ability to recruit, manage and motivate a strong sales team.

I sounds quite interesting, actually. Good luck to him.

Even though it annoyed the hell out of me at the time, I think "That's What We're Talking About" would be a good advertising slogan for Amstrad.

What are these adverts on the underground to which he refers? What screens do they have down there? (I'm a northerner and I've never noticed them on my occassional travels down south)

There aren't any really as yet - that's the point. These screens showing news and adverts are all over the Madrid and Barcelona metros so its been done elsewhere.

I wish there was a Program say six Months down the line that showed how the Apprentice was doing in the job given to them by Sir Alan.

It may take a little while for Lee to get into the job but im pretty sure he will do a good job overall.

I don't think using Lee in advertising is the best move for SAS. However, he may surprise us..

Some of the larger stations have had screens for a few years now, typically replacing the ones on the walls of the escalators.
The larger stations used to have several thousand posters, including those opposite platforms, which would be replaced overnight at consdierable cost.

Can't help thinking that Sugar is late to this party as he seems to have been with several of his business ventures.

I can remember him saying that owning an emailer would be a no brainer..

I was at Bond Street tube yesterday and on one of the platforms there was actually a projector showing adverts onto the wall of the station opposite the platform

This dude right...Lee...He's a 30 year old bloke who won that TV show, you know the one? The Apprentice they call it. He strives to be more so now he's leaving his mark on advertising boards.
How's that for a welcome to the world of advertising/marketing presentation?

Yeah, other companies are already doing it.

SirAlan probably has in mind a cheaper, less good version for the lower end of the market!

But hey, he'll be earning that six-figure salary for it! And I'm sure it'll be a bit more challenging than Sr'Alan made out - after all, would you pay someone that much money and not expect something special from them?

I like Lee and was really glad that he won. I could see Sr'Alan's mood changing away from Claire towards Lee in the BR last night, and I was delighted when Lee got the gig!
