Sir Alan really hated Jenny Celerier, didn't he?

I think Sir Alan took considerable pleasure in saying what he did about Jenny Celerier on "You've been Hired" tonight!!

It was all completely spot-on and her face afterwards was a picture.

On the "You've Been Fired"show after she got the boot - she seemed to look quite ashamed of her behaviour and seemed to have taken the negative comments with reasonable grace.

But tonight - she looked as if she'd been weaned on lemons!!!

...so, the usual sour look then?

She came across as a vile person throughout the whole series. Really vindictive, evil, twisted...

I think Sugar is a bit petty minded, his main reason for objecting to Alex and Jenny C and Jenny M was that he thought they were trying to do his job. That is a very small minded approach to evaluating someone, he is a tosser sometimes.

Actually I think he was very polite and measured in what he didn't say about Jenny C.

She was truly truly appalling and if he had said what he REALLY thought about her - it would just be a tirade of expletives!!

Shame he didn't "cotton on" to Jenny C when she was against Shazia....Sir Alan may have actually proved his worth then.

Yes - I'd agree with that!

Actually I agree, up to a point. There were better reasons than that to dislike Jenny C. Telling lies, bullying, trying to bribe people, for starters.

I assume Sir Alan had some say regarding which candidates helped in the final task - JC was one.

By the way, I didn't see Margaret in the audience in the post-Apprentice programmes last night.

Funnily enough, on other stuff -- like 'The Weakest Link' -- JC comes across as OK

she did, as she did when Adrian Chiles interviewed her after she was fired

I cringed for her actually and felt a little embarrassed for her. I didnt like her on the show but felt there no need to publicly humiliate her again.

All the fired candidates look so much better in Adrian's programme. Helene last night was far better looking, almost feminine. Probably BBC experts gave them a professional makeover.

It depends on:

whether SAS is offended when his territory as boss is challenged,

or whether he takes extremely seriously any attempt at false evidence to mislead SAS the judge (which could succeed if he is not alert). With the contestants bending over backwards to perform their best and land the opportunity of a lifetime, SAS feels acutely a duty on his part to pass impartial judgment.

Well it's obviously not that considering he picked the person who told whoppers on his CV about the most basic things.

Sir Alan didnt like her, but i think she has the abilty to get a good overview on a task as a whole and it didnt susprise me that she was picked first last night when it came to making the teams for the final.

Michael told far greater whoppers than Lee. It could be that SAS already expects self-promoting exaggeration and whoppers from each candidate and is easily alert to same.

Any false statement by a third party intentionally designed to mislead the judge unawares while purporting to be objective evidence, is regarded b SAS as a geneuine danger, and what led to summary dismissal -- even in preference to firing the hopeless Michael.

Up to a point - yes, it was said in jest.

Having said that, however, I thought Jenny C had a most unfortunate habit of thrusting her sizeable chin out whenever she went off on one of her diatribes about her co-candidates - which just seemed to add to the impression of her aggressive and contemptuous attitude.

Her arrogant manner was one of the things which made her so utterly unpleasant throughout and her body language (including the chin thrusting) was a complete manifestation of it.

I thought it was far more serious that Celeriac thought up the plot to sabotage the tennis rackets in Marrakesh but this has hardly been mentioned subsequently.

I loved it when Nick said JC was a "rotter"
