On GMTV yesterday, Sir Alan said his only error was firing Raef but I think Simon should have lasted so much longer. He was a general all-round nice guy. I'd hire him any day!

I still think he should have won, shame we didn't see much of him last night until the boardroom. He came across as such a nice, hard working guy

Me too. Honest and down to earth. If I ever saw him out and about I'd say hi, shake his hand, and, if we happened to be in a public house, very happily buy him a pint. Top bloke, I hope we haven't seen the last of him.

It made me realise even more how much I disliked the final four! I didn't give a toss who won - I was just happy to see wonderful Simon.

What a thoroughly decent bloke - saying those things about Claire even though she'd stitched him up good and proper.

Glad someone started a thread re Simon. I was thinking along the same lines last night. How the hell those two tits Kevin (God, HOW deluded is he?????) and Michael outlasted him is beyond me. Simon's great.

I can only agree. Simon really was a gent wasn't he, he was there for Claire when she 'treated him like dirt' hopefully she'll have given him a big hug afterwards for that. Must be heartwarming to receive compliments like that.

Simon showed what a truly lovely guy he was last night. He was in Claires team who had given him a hard time yet he got stuck in there and gave his all. He even acknowledged that Claire had learned a lot and changed through the series which was a really good thing to do.

I loved Simon and never forgave Claire for the way she treated him - but he seems to have reconciled that. Poor bloke does seem a bit worried though, like the whole thing had depressed him. Hope he does well in the future.

He should be fine, he showcased himself very well and any company would be lucky to have him!
