Motorola C350 - setting up WAP
Tony Montana
11-08-2003
Hi folks,

Just bought a Motorola c350 on orange pay as you go for me wife - got the phone up and running but can't seem to get the WAP working.

It comes up with the error:

"orange.multimedia/"

"Network not available"

The missus ain't too impressed .

I would really appreciate if someone could help me overcome this problem? I've tried editing the WAP settings but still no difference,

Could it be the pay as you go simcard she has? its about 4 years old, I think.

Or perhaps its a problem at the other end??

you need to contact orange and get the new configuration sent to the phone

I recently had this promlem with an old o2 sim card,a quick call to customer care and 24hrs later they had sent the new settings to my phone and off I went all sorted.

Aah, what a shame!

The problem we have is the sim card for my wife is one she was given by a friend some years ago and the reason I haven't rang up Orange CS, is because we've got no clue who's name the SIM is registered to, what the PIN number is etc etc ( had it all written down, but she's lost the details)... got a new SIM card with the phone, but she doesn't want to change her number...

So I guess that means no WAP for her - aaargh

Isn't there any other way??

I would have given orange CS a call.. but I'm wondering they might block the SIM, or even the phone... now that'd really get the missus going

Well apparently I'm told the SIM card is not WAP enabled... and I'd need to put in a new SIM Card to get it onto WAP.

Very Disappointing
