How on earth do I connect this lot up?
I have just bought a Panasonic DMR-E50 DVD recorder, so I now have to re-cable my equipment. My head is spinning
I have: Toshiba 36ZP18Q TV: 1 RGB scart, 2 S-video scarts Sky+ (pace V1) Panasonic DMR-E50 DVD recorder: RGB scart in & out S-Video in & out Optical audio out Panasonic HS900 S-VHS VCR: 2 RGB scart S-Video out Denon AVR-3802 6 S-Video in 3 S-Video out 3 opical audio in I want to be able to copy from sky+ to DVD or VCR, and DVD to VCR. The VCR is only used for archiving. My initial thought was to connect the Sky+ to the TV RGB scart socket and Denon optical audio (and denon S-Video for copying), and route everything else through the Denon using S-Video for flexibility. The Denon Monitor out would also be connected to the TV S-Video Scart. Is there a better way to do this for maximum picture and sound quality? Cheers |

I think you need a scart switcher (or two) to get the benefit of RGB.
Have a search for other threads on this. |
