So gordon brown says he shouldn't have lied on his CV

Yet i begin to wonder how gordon brown got his job? he must have put some lies on his CV to get to where he is!!!

He lies to us virtually every time he opens his mouth!

If ever there was a perfect example of hypocracy it is a politician telling someone they should not have lied.

And what does it tell us about his political sense. Talk about leaving yourself wide open!

Why was Brown even talking about this?

No.

But he wasted an extremely good oportunity to keep his mouth closed.

Given it was said at his weekly press conference it is most likely he was asked the question and it is hardly something he should have to keep his mouth shut about. Some people have too much time on their hands!

I'd hazard a guess that it's because he was ASKED about about it....

He doesn't have to keep his mouth shut.

It's just that it would be a good idea for someone who has been lying professionally for many years not to cast judgement on someone who has been caught out in one lie.

It makes him look like a sanctimonious a*sehole.

Possibly because it diverted attention away from recession, credit crunch, the war in Iraq, the erosion of civil liberties in this country... and everything else he and Blair have f*cked up over the past 11 years.

Gordon Brown is the biggest living proof of the saying "Be careful what you wish for". He spent ten years waiting for the job he has now - making the most of every opportunity to twist the knife into his supposed best friend - only to find out he can't do the job.

I'm merely offering a suggestion as to why that might be the case.

You seem to be having a little difficulty in understanding why a politician, whose job necessarily involves a great degree of mendacity would be hypocritical to start telling someone else off for bending the truth. (Let he whp is without sin throw the first stone ).
