Corrie 13/6/08: The Morning After The Night Before
Friday 13 June 7.30pm
It's the morning after and Steve (Simon Gregson) is leaving Lloyd (Craig Charles) a telephone message asking for his help as he is stranded at Roy's (David Neilson) and can't find his shirt. An unimpressed Roy comes to the rescue with Steve's damp shirt which had been left in the shower. Steve lets Becky (Katherine Kelly) know that he will not tell anyone about last night and he escapes to Lloyd's in his wet shirt to attempt to cover his tracks. Lloyd tells him he has been stupid as Steve begs him to cover for him. Steve eventually attempts to sneak back into the Rovers with a bunch of flowers. When Michelle (Kym Ryder) sees him she demands to know what's going on and reminds him that she can always tell when he has been lying. How will Steve get out of this one? Becky is also feeling guilty about last night's antics and when Michelle comes round to the café she panics fussing over her order. An unhappy Roy has a word with Becky outside clearly showing his disapproval. Later on Becky calls round to the cab office to return Steve's watch that he left at the flat. She confides in Lloyd, telling him that her and Jason are not going anywhere. Elsewhere, Jason tells Bill (Peter Armitage) that he will finish things with Becky. Is it definitely over for these two? Carla (Alison King) is clearly on edge knowing that Liam (Rob James-Collier) is coming home the next day, especially when she finds out from Tony (Gray O'Brien) rather than Liam himself. When Rosie (Helen Flannigan) hands over her ringing mobile, Carla gets in a state as her computer has crashed and throws everything off her desk. Rosie tries to calm her down. How will she react when Liam does finally return from his holiday with Maria (Samia Smith)? Elsewhere, Gail (Helen Worth) announces to the her family that she will be going to Milan to visit Sarah, while David (Jack P Shepherd) and Tina (Michelle Keegan) learn that Ted (Michael Byrne) will be keeping an eye on them. Also, Lloyd continues to hand over money to Teresa (Karen Henthorn) for Finlay (Ramone Quinn), he suggests playing a more active role in Finlay's life but Teresa threatens him saying the CSA will get involved. This episode is written by Jan McVerry and directed by Tim Dowd. The producer is Kim Crowther. Friday 13 June 8.30pm Steve (Simon Gregson) is trying to apologise to Michelle (Kym Ryder) and explain where he has been but Michelle is not making it easy for him and tells him that he needs to get Dan (Matt Crompton) to change his mind about the accusation. She suggests he uses Amy to try and win him round. Steve meanwhile is still riddled with guilt about last night but knows that he has to try and speak to Dan. He chats to Harry (Jack Ellis) who clearly takes Steve's side. Will he be able to persuade his son to back down? Becky (Katherine Kelly) and Jason (Ryan Thomas) are both looking for each other after the misunderstanding the day before. Jason is stunned however when Becky dumps him telling him that she does everything full on and if he can't cope with that it's over. Lloyd (Craig Charles) has watched this exchange with interest and tells a stunned Steve that he thinks she dumped Jason because of her fling with him. Tina (Michelle Keegan) is worried about David's (Jack Shepherd) meeting with her dad (Reece Dynsdale) and tries to tell David how to act around him. David isn't too impressed with being told what to do but eventually agrees to play it her way. Relieved Tina introduces the two men in her life – will they hit it off? Tom Kerrigan (Philip McGinley) arrives to help Carla (Alison King) with her computer problems and wheelchair bound Tony (Gray O'Brien) is less than impressed with how well they get on. Elsewhere Sally (Sally Whittaker) is annoyed when Claire (Julia Haworth) books Roger (Andrew Dunn) to help modernise the house. This episode is written by Jan McVerry and directed by Tim Dowd. The producer is Kim Crowther. Discuss here! ![]() ![]()

I do wish they would get rid of Janice.
![]() How cringe-worthy was her little wheelchair into the desk outburst. I can't believe she is still working at the factory. |

Tonight's First Episode
Not quite as bad as Wednesday's episode.
The Underworld stuff was a bit chronic, especially the sequence with Janice wheeling Tony into the office & her " banter" with Carla. The whole thing was forced & completely unfunny. And as for the computer crashing the least said about that the better. Lloyd continues to defy belief. Another £50 handed over to Teresa purely on her say-so that he's Finlay's father. It's not even as if he's got to spend any time with him whatsoever since he started handing the cash over. You'd really think that alarm bells might have started to ring by now. I do like Ted as he comes across as different to most of the other men in Corrie. It will be interesting to see how he gets on with Demon & Tina once Gail's jetted off to see Donk in Italia. The scene with Roy & Becky outside of the cafe when he was talking about her not considering the consequences of her actions was quite nice. Liked Becky telling Roy it was easy to be good when youb have a nice home, a nice business & someone that loves you. Cliffhanger was reasonable enough. 5 out of 10 |

Eileen's scenes with Jason are great. "What could possibly go wrong?"

God, I be ashamed if I'd had a body like that at his age. I am probably 40 years older than him and reckon I'm in slightly better shape, notwithstanding my advanced years but there again I have never smoked or downed gallons of beer - ever.

I think his body's realistic for a bloke who runs a pub, smokes, drinks, eats fry-ups, drives everywhere and never does a jot of exercise.
