OK, for hideously ugly, you need to have real talent!!
But normally plain is everywhere these days

I think that Alex and Lee are both stereotypically good looking in different ways. I'd much rather go on a date with Lee though. I find Alex a bit say... personality free.

I mean, all his girlfriend could say about him on "The Final Five" was that he was good looking! And I know Lucinda isn't his biggest fan but in her interview on Holy Moly, the interviewer asks her to tell him "everything she knows about Alex" and all she can really say is that is that he is actually very good looking. And er, he's 24.

Alex is quite introverted in my opinion. It doesn't mean he's personality free - it just means he's not as flashy and loud as some of the other candidates. He'd be very interesting to have a one-to-one conversation with I suspect.

I believe that Lucinda was being tactful and tongue in cheek by giving the reply she did when asked about Alex. If she'd given her true feelings I suspect she'd have been very critical, especially considering his intervention in the boardroom, so she chose discretion instead.

I agree - Alex is just quiet hence appearing to be lacking in personality. I think one on one () he'd be lovely!

Hmm....runs to bid on the date with him (and shares with Cadence!)

I have to agree to disagree. Alex is pretty, I must admit, but Raef is more well-rounded in my estimations and also gorgeous looking.

“One thing that has been confusing me throughout this is the fact (for me) that Lee is the drop-dead gorgeous one that you would immediately notice if you walked into that room and Alex is just some lanky, ordinary-looking bloke with a jar of hair gel and too much time on his hands,

so...

*why*? did everyone go on about how gorgeous Alex is and no-one even mentioned Lee's amazing looks?”

Well...

A) Looks are relative. What you may find attractive, someone else might not. This is why beautiful looking women often marry plain looking (ahem, often rather rich) men.

B) Even if you think Lee is drop dead gorgeous, when he opens his mouth and acts a bit like a market stall trader, (not that there is anything wrong with working on a market stall) his looks kinda seem less noticeable. Let's face it, he's no Mr Refined, is he? If you combined Lee's look with Raef's personality - now that would be interesting.

Today's the last day we can bid I think.

Well as Alex is now apparently a gay icon, I don't think he'd mind. It's a date for charity, it could just as easily be a pair or a group that get to spend the time with him I think.

Alex is more conventionally good looking, almost pretty. As has been said before, almost as if it were a derogatory term, he's boyband material. I don't think he's at all skinny (I don't actually have a problem with skinny men anway, I much prefer them to even the slightest amount of podge that I find off putting in even the most otherwise beautiful person). He's just very tall and still young. Some men take longer than others to fill out.

Hmm, I think most men get better with age. Like a fine wine.
There is something quite sexy about a man that knows how to treat you like a lady. Not that I haven't fancied men that are younger, but I have thought that maybe if some men were e.g. 5 years older then they would be sexy, not just cute. For some reason having a fancying to Robert Downey Junior. I think its a sign I'm getting older.

I think you should save your money. He comes across better when he doesn't talk, but then hes not going to be good for conversation is he.
I call it the one night stand material. Possibly arm candy but not someone you would have a relationship with because he is lacking in the personality department and I know I'd get bored. Give me an average looking guy who makes me laugh/charming any day.
Anyone who has a relationship with him would have to be as 'pretty dull' as he is.
