Wireless SCART - Any recommendations?

I would like to transmit a TV signal from a Sky+ box to a television in another room, preferably without installing additional cables.

A wireless SCART transmitter/receiver seems interesting. Does anyone have any experience of these devices?

In particular I would be interested to know;

1/ What is the picture and sound quality like? Does it compare to a directly cabled SCART connection?
2/ What is the range through walls and ceilings?
3/ Is the signal which instructs the TV to automatically adjust its picture settings between widescreen and 4:3 formats transmitted correctly?
4/ Is there any interference with (or from) DECT telephones, wireless networks etc.?
5/ Can anyone recommend a particular product that works well for them?

Thanks.

I asked this question a couple of years ago. IIRC, the concensus was that I'd get a more reliable picture using the RF out from the Sky+ box than I would if I used a wireless video sender.

RF was the easy option for me. I already had 2 coax cables into the lounge, the second one originally being for FM radio. Simply a case of re-patching the cables in the loft.

Since the second TV is a cheap 17" in the kitchen, RF gives perfectly acceptable results. Wouldn't want to watch it on a big screen, though.

I just came on here to ask the exact same thing. We owned our last home so had sky wired up to our bedroom and a magic eye thing, it worked great but we rent now so aren't allowed to do things like that.

We bought a 2.4 wireless transmitter but it's pita, too much interference, no colour and generally unbearable to watch.

I had a previous incarnation of this which worked excellently - until I got a home wifi network. Microwave ovens seem to interfere with the signal a bit too.

These days I think wifi networks are to prevalent to make these much good - unless you live away from other houses and don't have a wifi network yourself.

These might get over the interference from wifi issues...
