Is this person Lee's new hero?

Just got my weekly mailout from "This is true" and this story was posted and I thought Lee would be proud (please note, this is in part tongue in cheek so dont get too wound up):

Carrollton, Texas, Mayor Becky Miller's
interesting list of claimed accomplishments was investigated when she
ran for reelection. Her campaign materials say she went to Western
Kentucky University, but the university has no record of her. She said
she was a backup singer for Linda Ronstadt and Jackson Browne, and was
engaged to Eagles singer Don Henley. When all said they didn't know
Miller, she claimed they were mistaken. "Maybe I was going by a
different name," she said. "Did you think about that?" Miller has said
she had a brother who was killed in the Vietnam war. After her father
said that his son is still alive, and never fought in Vietnam, Miller
claimed her father has Alzheimer's and "He can't remember tomorrow."
Reporters found her brother, but he refused to comment. Miller then
explained the brother she was referring to was "not my blood brother,"
and refused to provide his name. Voters weren't impressed with her
denials and explanations: Miller was defeated in her reelection bid.

Being economical with the truth (a.k.a. lying) doesn't seem to have done 'Dr' Gillian McKeith that much harm in the professional stakes - what she did was far worse than what Lee did and she still gets series on Channel 4 and best selling books.

yep, seems like its becoming more of a pattern. And look at her now, back on TV, back talking her lies, etc. Seems like lying is the way forward now.

She is absolutely awful - but it doesn't make what he did right.
