if you find a list (or link) for the service centres can you please post them here. If not, could you tell me the service centres in central london (i'm planning on getting one on orange, so might wanna get it flashed too, to the latest firmware offering)

I'm certain there used to be a function on the ericsson website to find your nearest service centres, but I can find it anymore!

Firmware upgrades are free until your warranty runs out, and I believe you can have it done as many times as you want until then.. It takes about 30 minutes.

I got my T68 turned into an 'i' for free at my local Carphone Warehouse.

Apparently the latest firmware makes the camera a bit more responsive, and allows you to alter the brightness and contrast of the picture. It probably also fixes lots of other bugs....

I might wait for a couple more revisions before I have mine done, to see what else they're going to add!

Sorry!! I meant 30 seconds, I should look what I'm typing!
I suppose you'll have to leave it with them a while anyway.
I was going to get my T65 done at one time, but I never got round to it. That why I remember looking on their site for the nearest service centre. On the other hand it may have still been just Ericsson back then/
