Apprentice Episode 12 (the final) - short piece of music

Hi,
Hope someone can help with this.

There was a short piece of music on The Apprentice Episode 12 (one of many bits of music used!). It sounds like tinkly piano notes played on a descending scale and then accompanied by a string instrument. It's difficult to work out what I'm talking about from a description so if you want to listen, it's on BBC iPlayer - http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/it...html?src=ip_mp

The music starts at 17:42 and ends at 17:56 while the camera pans over Eros in Picadilly Circus. You can start the iPlayer and then scroll to 17:42. Please, if anyone can listen I'd be really grateful.

Does anyone know what it's called and the composer?

Thanks.

Once the strings start it sounds a bit like something out of one of the Harry Potter films, but I'm afraid I can't help other than that.

That's it! Thank you very much, acceber.

I really had no idea it was Saint-Saens. I had some vague idea it was written by an American composer in the 1940s or 50s, which led me on a bit of a wild goose chase.

Thanks also to masterchef_girl and J9666 for responding.

Cheers
