Changes To Voting Format
As the current format stands, with 3 people each week not eligible to vote (The HoH, but only in the event of a tie & the 2 nominees) the voting format must change at some stage.
Week 6...............H/G's left = 8...............Jury members = 1 Week 7...............H/G's left = 7...............Jury members = 2 Week 8...............H/G's left = 6...............Jury members = 3 Week 9...............H/G's left = 5...............Jury members = 4 Week 10.............H/G's left = 4...............Jury members = 5 Week 11.............H/G's left = 3...............Jury members = 6 Week 12.............H/G's left = 2...............Jury members = 7 Can anyone enlighten me as to how the show pans out towards the end, there's distinct a lack of information on the official website as we all know, they're no help at all. One more query, the show lasts for 100 days (14 weeks), which means that we will have the 7 jury members & the last two H/G's at 12 weeks. Have I missed something or am I just thick ?

Don't the 7 Jury ymembers decide on the eventual winner of the last two come week 12? This would make sense as there is an odd number on the Jury so there can be no dead-heats.
I'm not sure how the voting people out goes though. Perhaps when there's 3 or 4 left there is no HoH or Veto? |

Not sure about when 4 remain, but when it gets down to 3 all housemates compete in a multi-stage HoH competition that takes place over the week, with the winner choosing who is evicted.
Also, http://www.mortystv.com says it is now day 40 of 83, so therefore it's 12 weeks. Last edited by Brekkie : 13-08-2003 at 14:18. |

What effect did Scott being thrown out have?
Have they cut the length of the series? Or are they going to do a UK and dump some poor unsuspecting soul in the snake pit. |

voting
HOH and nominations will continue as usual for the next few week all the way until they get to the Final 4. The final 4 will be the last 'normal' voting. There will be an HOH competion and a nomination of 2 HG's for eviction as well as a POV competition. With only 4 people in the house and 2 up for eviction, there is only 1 HG who is eligible to vote.
Once it is down to the Final 3, there is usually a 2 or 3 part competion for HOH. The winner of this HOH competition ensures that he/she is in the final 2 and gets to choose which of the other HG's he/she would like to join him in the Final 2. Once at Final 2, voting turns over to the 7 evicted HG's. The 7 evicted HG's will return and are able to ask each of the Final 2 in the house a question. Once that is over, the 7 evicted HG's will vote who should be awared the half million dollar prize. This is how it has been done in the past. The producers could throw in a few more twists that could change anything at this point but that is not known at this time. Colby |

Heh thx Martyn_F1
![]() Colby broke it down how things happen anway That is always an interesting scenario at the end. Think about it when it is down to 4. Whoever wins HoH has to decide which person will evict one of the two nominees. Imagine a final 4 of Justin, Robert, Jee and Jun. Imagine if Robert wins it and gives Justin the honour of evicting either Jee or Jun. Forget about what you have heard about the dream team thing. Once they can smell the money and realise Jee would be too hard to beat in the final then all that talk of flipping a coin to decide will be a distant memory. It would be fun to watch Justin squirm and take a big gulp as he evicts Jee over Jun. Also i cant wait to see each jury members face as they come to the realisation that they will be sequestered in another house and not some beach in Mexico. I hope we see Dana reunited with Nate tonight.

You're welcome Martyn_F1.
Also one other thing to note, the final episode will take place in the same week. For instance, the final 3 HOH competition would go something like this. Friday show would show part 1 with all 3 HG's competing and accumulating points. The following Tuesday show would show part of the competition with all 3 competing but only the top 2 HG's moving on to part 3 of the competition. Part 3 of the competition would be shown live on the Wednesday show with the new and final HOH being crowned at that time. Immediately following that, the Final HOH would choose live who to take to the Final 2 with him/her. This is done right in front of both HG's. Therefore the odd person out will be evicted. The Final 2 would then only spend 1-2 more days together, alone in the house before the next show. Therefore, the next show would be aired on Friday. There would be bits of footage of the jury members discussing with the cameras their views on the final 2 and then they will gather the 7 in a room in a studio and connect them via tv to the final 2 HG's who will be sitting in the living room where they do all the live shows. Therefore, they will only be able to see each other through television screens. Each jury member would then ask each of the final 2 a question, they would respond in kind and after that has occurred we would see each of the jury members in the diary room talking to the camera and discussing the pros and cons of which of the final 2 should be awarded the prize. Then, one by one, each of the jury members will place a key (with the name of th HG's they want to award the prize to) in the round nomination box. Once that is complete, Julie will talk to the final 2 HG's and then the 7 jury members will be allowed back into the house to joing the final 2. Once inside, they all site in the living room and one by one, each of the jury members addresses they final 2 and pulls out his/her key from the nomination box and reveals who he/she voted for. After that is done, the winner is of course revealed and congratulated and they all leave the house together. Outside of the house the family members/significant others of the final 2 will be outside waiting. There will be hugs and kisses and tears and it's all over. Colby |

Hey Colby,
Maybe you should let them see how it works by themselves. ![]() It will certainly be a change from Divina begging for peoples money in the final.

In series 2 when a housemate was ejected they just had one week without an eviction. Remember they don't have voting revenue to worry about.
Also, the housemates have been told again to expect the unexpected. I predict that the secret place where the 7 jury members will be able to watch the action but be isolated from the outside world could well be the Big Brother house. |

It's not Big Brother without (Magnus accent optional) THE PUBLIC VOTE!!! The US public could at least get one vote on the jury... I don't see how BB can ever truly capture the imagination of the American public with so little interaction and no power over the final outcome...

On BB3 last year the final veto (the only golden veto of the last series) was contested when there were five HGs left.
It is not possible to have a veto with only four HGs left because the HOH would have no choice of the replacement nominee. If a nominee vetoed themselves or the other nominee, only one HG would be available as a replacement. If the HG who was not HOH or nominated originally used the veto, no HG would be available as a replacement. |

As the change in voting is approaching, thought it time to *BUMP* for those who haven't seen this yet.
