Candidate's Websites

I seem to remember that, in previous years, loads of the candidates published their own websites very soon after the final. Are there any this year ?

A few of them are on 'Facebook' this year

Alex's has been online for a good six weeks. Jenny C is running and Helene's has a holding page (www.alexwotherspoon.co.uk, www.jennycelerier.co.uk, www.helenespeight.co.uk). Nicholas also had a site running though I can't be bothered to look again for it!

I love the way Jenny C describes her appearance on the apprentice as ...

The Apprentice Series 4 as Cruella De Ville, 'The Snake' and Lady MacBeth, Celebrity Weakest Link as Ann Robinsons step daughter,

She does have a sense of humour, lol

I never realised Ian did all that Sports reporting. Listening to the samples of his work, he's not actually that bad.

What surprised me was Ians website was one of the better one from the candidates.

I too never realised he was into sport reporting and yes he does seem good at it

Surely he has a problem if one of the teams `doesnt win`?

Just to let you all know, the following two sites are now live:

Sara Dhada's web site

Lee McQueen's web site

From the html code of Lee's home page:
Quote:
“<meta name="keywords" content="Lee,lee,mcqueen,McQueen,macqueen,MacQueen,LeeMcqueen,leemcqueen,Lee McQueen,lee mac,Lee Mac,lee macqueen,Lee MacQueen,lee apprentice,Lee apprentice,Lee Apprentice,leeapprentice,LeeApprentice,leemcqueen apprentice,lee mcqueen apprentice,LeeMcqueen apprentice,Lee McQueen Apprentice,apprentice2008,Apprentice2008,apprentice 2008,Apprentice 2008,siralan,sirAlan,sir alan,Sir Alan,sir alan sugar,sir Alan Sugar,alan suger,Alan Suger,sugar apprentice,Sugar apprentice">”

You'd think under the circumstances that his programming team would not include spelling errors. Claude's point has been made!

I hope BelligerentBoss is being sarcastic They added misspelled keywords to get results from misspelled searches.

More ironic rather than sarcastic TBH!

Weird!

I looked at the site and thought: "That's funny, I thought his CV said he was a software sales manager.

Yet the site claims he's a sports journalist.

So I checked the apprentice site and, sure enough, it says he's a software sales manager.

Another case of someone telling porkies on their CV?

I suppose combining the two is not impossible - sports reporting, etc. being a weekend function.

The Application Form requires you to declare if you work for Freementle/Talkback/the BBC, so I'm sure they knew.

Perhaps Talkback are interpreting the CVs "creatively" to provide a better group demographic???
