samsung j-700 users - please help!

My Mam has this phone, and a one gig micro-sd card.

She want's to take lots of video footage, and pictures, and has bought an external card for this.

However,

I can't seem to find an option on the phone to make the memory card the default.

I've read the instructions, and googled for this problem, but to no avial.

I've tried formatting the card again, and using one of mine, but the phone still insists on saving the pictures / video footage to the internal small memory card.

We get the icon showing that the memory card has been inserted.

On the phone, all I can find is 'menu' / 'settings' / phone settings' / 'pc connections' / click 'mass storage'.

This doesn't help either.

The only solution I can come up with is to copy each picture / video one by one from the internal memory to the microSD one each time, but my Mam hates technology, and this is too fiddly for her. FFS.

A real pain with samsung phones!! Many just don't let you record straight to the memory card which is, frankly, rediculas!

Whether this is true for the J700 I'm not sure - it was for the E900 and D900.

Mine was ok on the E900. I am sure I used to go directly to the card. I can on my G600 as well.
My only grumble is the inability to change message tones grrr.
