I feel somewhat sorry for Simona.

She has the looks, the voice, the passion and the stage presence -- but it counts for nothing because she cant lose the accent.

If she had been born in Surrey - she would have been a star.

Yes it must be a big problem for her.
But she certainly hasn't improved. I couldn't understand her very well in that song.
I thought she said in some newspaper that she was going to do a serious song.
Then instead she gets up on stage in a black tutu and sings that song with a strong accent.

i went truly off of her when she pulled a hissy on the other girls when rehearsing in the night and acting all holier than thou on the live show, putting them down still.

there was not point of return then for me.

i was off her at maria school anyway, but that tipped it.

I seem to remember that in Maria that she had quite a good voice, and it was always the accent that the judges had a problem with.
But this....
She seemed to be singing a different song from the backing singers and in a different key. In fact, the backing singer who had a solo line with a close up was miles better.
Truly dire.
