Moving into new house

Hello all,

I'm moving into a new house next month, and I'm almost 100% sure they have a phone line installed, probably through BT.

I was wanting to sign up to Skys services, but then ran into an issue with line rental. Who do I pay for line rental?

Sky offer the option where I can pay my line rental to them - but can I just go into the property and sign up for sky? Or do I need to contact BT first?? Because I'd much rather have all services with the one company??

Any help is appreciated...

IMHO, the 'one bill' mindset is flawed in most cases and I'd advise you to sign up with BT for line rental (opt for their cheapest package, the Unlimited Weekend Plan) and merely use Sky Talk (or, better still, Primus Saver Option 2 with Penny Mobile 2) as your CPS (Carrier PreSelect) calls provider.

Primus/Penny will give you free evening and weekend UK 01/02/03 calls of up to 90 minutes each and calls of up to 20 minutes each to UK mobiles for a flat rate 20p - for no monthly subscription fee.

Please see HERE for some recommendations/ideas.
