Actually no one knowns what the sequester house looks like or where it is located. This is the first time in BBUSA history that they have sequestered the jury members upon eviction. The only thing we have been told is that it is in a super, top secret location where they have no contact with the outside world except for maybe a monitored phone call with a family member and they have no access to televsisions or the internet to find out what is going on in the BB house. Hopefully we will all find out more information later in the show.

Let me add just a few comments to the points already summarized by Colby.
The Co-Producer of BB4 USA, Arnold Shapiro, has already stated in an interview (which I previously posted) that the sequestered HGs will get to see SOME parts of the show. He specifically mentioned they WOULD see the Competitions BUT absolutely no Diary Room HG entries. That's the main objective behind sequestering evicted HGs: to prevent them from seeing the DR sessions. This was because the Runnerup of BB3 - Danielle - gave "scandalous" comments during those sessions. Each week she would look into the DR camera after an eviction & say something like: "That's 6 (HGs) down...5 to go!" When the evicted HGs saw this (& other comments) they became very resentful of how she had played them. Just about every BB USA fan would agree that she would have won BB3 USA...if it wasn't for her candid DR comments. As a result, Shapiro/Grodner decided to sequester them with no access to DR interviews in order to promote an environment that would foster their open,free-flowing candid views - without any repercussions that might inhibit them from potentially winning the game. |

Since the evicted housemates form the jury to pick the winner from the final two, that means the jury has 10 members.
So what happens if they vote 5-5 ? |

Only the last seven evictees are in the jury so there can be no tie. Dana, Nathan, and Justin are the first three jury members.
Amanda, Michelle, and David will be back for the final show but will not be voting. |

Please help me if I've completely misunderstood but what's the point of limiting what they view? If the evicted housemates are all living together then surely they will get filled in on what's happened, but only from certain people's points of view. Surely this isn't fair? They may as well have the live feeds hadn't they? I can see why they shouldn't be able to watch the Diary Room parts but not the rest. Or is it a rule that they are unable to discuss anything that has happened since they were evicted?

I agree with you speedy_uk, Julie also said on Thursday's show that they would not be allowed to see private conversations either. So, what do they get to see since everyone always seems to be in a private conversation?

If they only get to see things like the competitions then how are the sequestered players meant to make a judgement on who should win the prize money? Surely they should be taking into account who's played the best all-round game? I'm not too sure how this will work.

Originally posted by speedy_uk I'm not to sure either, another point is the sequestered house itself. Will the jurors form new alliances with each other since they know they are out anyway? A lot of them have been playing on emotion and not the game, I believe this will be a factor in their verdict as well. I am thinking Jee will have a good chance to win if he lasts. The other stooges will surely vote him to win and add Dana and possibly Jun to that equation; that's 4 votes for him. It is listed for tonight in the US, but it isn't listed in the UK all weekend except for repeats of the eviction! |

I agree that Jee has probably the best chance because as you say he has Robert and Justin who will almost certainly vote for him. If eitehr Jack or Erika leave then the other has a guaranteed vote there too. I can't decide what Nathan's going to do though...
As far as I know the show will be tomorrow at 23:00 but can anybody please confirm this? I missed it last week after they moved it from Saturday night Is it true that they only changed it so that they could clear the schedule in the US for a couple of weeks?

So much easier with a public vote!!!
The fairest way to treat the Jury members would be to have them in the actual Big Brother house - that way they get to see what the remaining houseguests want them to see and don't have to rely on the editing of the producers etc. |
