I managed to get a copy of the book in WHSmith yesterday despite them previously telling me they wouldn't have any copies until Friday. IMO it's a far better buy than the DVD, very informative and a nice little reminder of the 9 weeks (That's if you want to be reminded of course!)

I might get a copy tomorrow if I can. I was wondering: do the housemates give their views about each other in the interviews, and if so,what do they say?

I think the book might be a worthwhile purchase simply because the DVD comes across as more cynical with its marketing. The book OTOH contains information that couldn't be readily accessible from the show (background details of HMs) although I suspect there will be some filler.

BTW, are signed copies only available through prize giveaways and competitions?

Father, I know someone who's selling autographed copies of the book at the moment - they advertised them on another forum. Send me a pm and I'll send you the url for it.

Jean Ritchie usually does a great job with the books. The BB3 one was crap though, because it only covered the first five weeks in the house.
