Can anyone confirm if this upscales HDMI?
As it has a HDMI output, but when connected the picture doesnt look anywhere near as good as when I connect my Samsung DVD player which has upscaling.

Yes the EZ25 does have upscaling, but you have to configure it yourself.
Menu: To Others: Setup: Connection: HDMI Settings.

Then adjust to suit your TV.
