open the window & shout for help? The square was packed with people for the Best of british day.
I suppose that there'd have been less suspense.

or crawled on her knees and dragged May down/bum-walked down the stairs to the telephone or even to get rid of the weapon... i had a very gammy leg once and let me tell you, i could have swiveled across my house even for a packet of crisps.

Did the writers think we would be so carried along by the suspense that we wouldn't wonder why Dawn never went to the window with a crowd of people outside, or does the window to that room look out over the back of the house? In which case she probably wouldn't be heard shouting for help.

I was shouting at the TV open the window and scream god sake there was plenty of people on the street that would of heard her. personally when May was on the other side of the bedroom door it was her ample opportunity to scream the place down in fact she could of screamed at any time

Shocked NAH she could of also taken Mickey's phone off him when he collapsed oh im being picky

I didn't know why she didn't go to the Masoods where Keith was when she took Summer from the beautiful baby competition. May doesn't know them, they probably would have sympathised and she could of called the police from there.

There was an awful lot wrong with last night, yet it was compelling to watch.

That's how I feel - so many chances for Dawn to have alerted others that it bordered on being daft BUT it was just so tense and gripping that I was able to suspend all disbelief. The only thing I can think of is that Dawn was so gripped with fear that she was just blinkered on Summer and screaming/calling out from the window didn't even cross her mind.

My bf was sat there pointing out the things the characters "should" or "could" have done while shaking his head in disbelief

But still people do react in different ways...

lol - a few things didn't make sense in the episode last night but it was still awesome to see!

The excuse I came up with for Dawn not screaming out of the window was that the Vic is across the square from the Miller's house so if the residents of the square were all gathered there then it would have been quite a distance for her voice to carry...

she would of been heard lol

Your voice travels

I have been in not a very nice situation myself where i had two choices scream or be attacked and trust me I screamed my head off and i also knee'd the said person somewhere it would of hurt so even though i was in shock i still managed to let people hear my dulcit tones lol

Why did she take summer away from the pub, when it was safe and packed with loads of people. She preferred to walk around the square alone with the baby...............hmmmmmmm that was intelligent.

Like others said, there was SO much wrong with yesterdays episode that it was ruined. I dont mind a bit of dramatic liscence but a real mother would'nt have acted so gormless last night.

Don't aplogise

To be honest I was too gripped to it to care if something was wrong or not, and the fact Tanya kept showing off her cleavage didn't help either
