Hi Steve

Try one of the sponsored links from DS...

http://digitalspy.pgpartner.co.uk/se...97/st=category

There is a Samsung 37" @ £461.78
Sony Bravia 37" @ £502.50
LG 37" @ £484.90

Just as examples. There are plenty of 32" models under £500 but for 37" and other models you may need to re-consider your budget. For example, the Samsung 40" LE40A457C1 is £536 so depends on how flexible your budget is.

Good thing is that if you click on the make and model it will go to the the website after a list of all other companies offering it where you can click on that go to the website and will show some reviews for it. I've bought a few things now and recommended Sound & Vision who seem to be fair with their prices, but of course the disclaimer is that "There are other suppliers available"..

Good Luck and let us know which one you went for and feedback.

Would pretty any much LCD TV allow me to plug my laptop and play anything from that on to the TV, or is it a limited feature?

The vast majority have VGA sockets on the back, and work well as computer monitors.
