Have you been overseas?

Common problem with Nokias. Put your sim in another phone. Dial your mobile number and leave a voicemail. Then listen to your voicemail then delete it. Put your sim back in your phone et voila! It's gone.

not sure if it is network related. Mine didn't disappear until I asked 3 to switch voice mail off when I went abroad. It returned when I asked then to turn it on again. I have an E65.

This used to be a common problem on the N80 on Orange, if you upgrade the firmware on the phone it should get rid of the problem but Ricardodaforce's method is a quick fix for it as well.

When I was at Orange it seemed to happen to any Nokia that had been taken overseas. I have no idea why though.

I just need to find someone with either a 3 phone or one that will take my sim to remove it.

I never paid attention to it. I just assumed it was the way it was to be. As I said it disappeared when I asked 3 to switch it off - that's more annoying - not being able to switch it off manually as you can with O2.

Can you switch voicemail off manually on T-Mobile or do you have to contact a CSR to do it?
