Friday 20 June 7.30pm

Liam (Rob James Collier) is in a black mood as he has heard nothing from Tony (Gray O'Brien) about the sale of the factory. When he finally does get in touch he makes it clear he is not willing to pay what Liam wants, Carla (Alison King) meanwhile makes it clear to Liam that she expects him to sell even at a loss. When Liam refuses she picks up the phone to the salon leaving him no choice but to bow to her wishes or lose Maria (Samia Smith). How will Maria react to the news he has sold the factory?

David (Jack P Shepherd) is still waiting for the reference from Audrey (Sue Nicholls) but when he eventually gets it he realises it isn't worth the paper it is written on and he decides not to go for the job. However when Tina (Michelle Keegan) and David (Jack P Shepherd) show the reference to Ted (Michael Byrne) he decides to take control of the situation.

It's the day of the Webster's and Peacock's house swap and things are going well as they carry their things over to their respective new houses. But Claire (Julia Haworth) takes a call from the solicitor saying that Sally (Sally Whittaker) and Kevin's (Michale Le Vell) money has not been transferred and she calls the whole thing to a halt much to Sally's annoyance.

Teresa (Karen Henthorne) suggests to Jerry (Michael Starke) that she should stay a bit longer but, as Jerry seems to consider the idea, Mel (Emma Edmondson) tells him not to fall for it. She is still furious over what happened with Lloyd and insists she pack her bags and leave without delay.

Steve's (Simon Gregson) packing as an uneasy Michelle (Kym Ryder) questions him about why he is going to Spain - she offers to go with him but he comes up with an excuse about having bonding time with Andy leaving her in no doubt that she is not welcome on the trip.

This episode was written by Jayne Hollinson and directed by Illy. The producer is Kim Crowther.

With the news that the money has been transferred the house swap is back on and the two couples are finally in their new homes. But Sally (Sally Whittaker) has tampered with the fuses at number 13 and when Ashley (Steven Arnold) goes to fix them the whole fuse box blows leaving them in darkness. Kevin (Michael Le Vell) agreess to get Bill (Peter Arimtage) to have a look at it but the two couples are stunned when he tells them that the whole house needs rewiring. With nowhere to live until the job is done Claire (Julia Haworth) and Ashley are forced to accept Kevin's offer that they move back into their old house with him and Sally.

An irate Maria (Samia Smith) confronts Liam (Rob James Collier) after Carla (Alison King) has told her about the sale of the factory. She is furious that he even considered it without consulting her first and she is not convinced by his plans to set up business with his cousin Tom. Meanwhile the factory girls are shocked when Tony (Gray O'Brien) and Carla announce that he has taken over - will Underworld ever be the same again?

Jerry (Michael Starke) is still feeling bad about sending Teresa (Karen Henthorne) packing and when he finds her at the bus stop he invites her out for a drink. When she tells him about her partner Gary being violent he decides to let her come back to the house - much to Mel's (Emma Edmondson) dismay.

Ted (Michael Byrne) surprises David (Jack Shepherd) by giving him a new reference which is infinitely more glowing than the one Audrey (Sue Nicholls) had given him - as a result he gets the job which stuns Audrey, who has no idea what Ted has done.

Elsewhere Vernon (Ian Reddington) is unhappy that Liz (Beverly Callard) wasn't more jealous about a runner at the recording studio was flirting with him.

This episode is written by Mark Burt and directed by Illy. The producer is Kim Crowther.

i dont think its very good at the moment, to much bland comedy and irritatingly average drama to be very good, but its not so bad as to turn people off watching it. still a passable show.

Weatherfield is supposed to be Salford. That's where the original Corrie St. was.

I do hope Carla isn't going to let herself be manipulated by a pathetic brat like Rosie.... I hope Carla twists everything and uses Rosie's "evidence" against her telling everyone Rosie has been stalking her or something

Why are they axing Harry exactly?? I really like him and I sooner see Liz with him than crappy Vernon.
