The interviews in the book

I bought a copy of the book today. What's interesting is that concerning the sections where each housemate gives their post-eviction opinion on all the other housemates, these interviews were clearly given very shortly after leaving the house. You can tell because some of the opinions they give are similar to what they said at their eviction interviews, but different from the opinions they expressed towards the end of the show's run, after they had had more of a chance to get to know more about the housemates. When Jon gives his opinion on the other housemates, at this stage he still thinks Cameron is a genuine guy, and he says he thought Justine was a kindred spirit and can't understand why she went off him - ie, he hasn't yet seen or been told of the footage where Cameron dissed him behind his back, or about Justine doing likewise, so he must have given the interview very soon after he was evicted.

Also, when asked about which housemates he particularly wants to stay in touch with, he says he hopes to see all of them, but particularly Cameron, Scott, Sissy, Gos and Nush, so it's obvious he must have been interviewed before he and Fed did their week on BBLB, because the Monday following Tania's eviction he said that he wanted to stay in touch with "quite a few of them, actually, but Federico in particular. I've really enjoyed this past week with him, he's been brilliant". Also, in Lisa's interview, she says she would stay in touch with nobody except maybe Gos, but in the webchat she gave the Tuesday following her eviction, she said she would stay in touch with Justine and Tania as well, so clearly the original interview must have been given very soon after her eviction, but before the day she gave the webchat. So my guess is that the interviews were probably given the day immediately after each housemate's respective eviction. It might have been interesting to interview all the housemates at a later stage though, as their opinions on each other clearly changed after spending time with each other on the outside world. I would have loved to read about what Jon thought about Justine after he found out how much she had been slagging him off behind his back.

Overall the book is pretty good, much better than the DVD anyway.

Maybe the interviews in the book are taken from the press releases which the housemates conduct the same night of their eviction?

The BB2 book interviews were almost identical to the press releases the housemates gave the weekend followign eviction...
