Bobby looks after himself, it's a tough life being a Beale child.

They pawn them off to some neighbors which are not on screen. Perhaps this is why Neighbours' children are brought everywhere, because everyone is on screen.

If they have older kids, they use them as full-time childminders.
Or Dot is a common excuse, I wouldn't be surprised if she branched out and looks after Amy from Corrie too

I think Emily looks after Josh and Freddie a lot, but who is looking after the kids is hardly ever mentioned, which is stupid.

But yes, why not take the kids with them! Charlie is often asleep in the office. In Corrie it wouldn't be a surprise if Amy was asleep upstairs when the pub is open, or sat in the back room playing games - Steve, or Liz, or Betty or Michelle, or Ryan can always check on her once in a while. At 3 years old she's old enough to be sat on her own in a room (that usually has someone else in) watching TV while her dad is only a room away in my opinion. |

Script writers forget to cover those things in the storylines.

In Eastenders poor Dot and Pat seem to be the resident 24 hour babysitters who are called upon any time of the day or night when someone needs a baby sitter at short notice.
In Emmerdale they have a playgroup where they seem to dump them all
