Once a number has been deleted it normally has gone for good . However if you are on contract then you can match the numbers on your bill to those in your phonebook.

Also if you have used the number recently, it maybe an idea to check the call log, most phones have them.

Best of luck

the only way would be check your call log like has been suggested,if you've not used it that recently but remember when you did last use the number even roughtly call your network and they may be able to get it for you

I am with o2.

I phoned them but the were conviently closed so I sent them a p*ssed email saying I demand a record of numbers I called between the xx and xx.

I can have this information, however it will cost me £10.

What a joke!

Yes it is a joke, but if getting a number that makes a difference in your happiness then £10 isn't bad. Could be a lot worse like an extra 0 on the cost or being told that you would never see that number again.

What right have you got to be pissed off with O2 for a mistake you made?

You deleted the number not them you have no right whatsoever to be pissed off with them.

And why should they provide the details for free? You made a mistake and now you want someone else to pay for it!

+4

However your phone maybe set to save to SIM as well as phone. Then when you delete a number on Sony phones only the one on the actual phone is deleted and the SIM one remains. Worth checking.
