Landline installation

Hi

We want to get a new landline installed.

However we've had BT (and they have had us) so having looked around I've found:

- The Post Office
- KEConnect

.. can install a landline. It's not a very long list, can anyone add any other choices?

(I realise that Openreach will install the line, the exchange has only BT and no LLU suppliers, but going with BT again isn't an option I can bear)

Thanks,
Mark

Though if you plan to use the line to make phone calls, then really the best option is BT as only they are forced to allow you to use cheap call providers, so the few pennies you may save on the line rental is out-weighed by not being able to make cheap call access.

Is Virgin an option?

Sadly not - it isn't a cabled area.

I did look at Madasafish and PlusNet, but they're both owned bt BT unfortunately.
