What functionality would you like to see added to your phone
I'm thinking of stuff that you'd like in your phone or the upgrade to it whether it exists currently or not, realistic or otherwise....
On my N95 8GB i'd like: -Optical Zoom -faster flash memory (it's pretty slow at the mo) then perhaps less realistically: -USB hosting - so you could upload pictures from your camera etc. -Laser keyboard - it can't be that hard, they're not that expensive -Projection display - would work well withthe laser keyboard -non-contact thermometer - this may be just me -laser tape measure - again just me?? |

Projection display would be nice but the N95 has a TV out see you can see pictures on a TV but it would be great for video when out.
Built in freeview would be good shame the one on the N96 wont work in the UK. Would be even better if you could stream stuff from your Sky + box but this cost quite a bit now. And some times the signal brakes up. I have never used this. |

I got the N95 on 3 with unlimited data so an app that handles a Windows Media Player stream (for TalkSPORT) would be nice.
BBC Iplayer too would be cool and as a previous poster said, optical zoom |

One thing I would like removed from all phones ever made are touch sensitive buttons - I have a Samsung E900, need I say more!!!???
To answer the original post I would like to see the addition of more traditional keypads! |

I'd like mine to have a feature whereby it actually works. That's all I want, a phone that works as a phone, rather than a phone with a billion useless features that don;t work all accessed via an awful menu system designed by a moron using keys made for someone with hands the size of a new born babies.
I hate mobiles and what they have become, they're all crap and every single one winds me up. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/technolo...sung-g600.html Expect to see similar reviews of every single phone I own from now on. |

When will some company perfect a speech to text fuction.
Just click 'speech message' and speak clearly and your voice would be converted to SMS. Its possible for tags for dialling with bluetooth - so why not? |

I think this'll happen soon enough. whenever they create a mobile standard like DVB-H what ususally happens is the processing power of mobile devices increases faster than the uptake of the mobile standard (like xhtml) so that it's not needed. |

Cant remember the make, it began with S, I read it on theresigter.com |

Motorola announced ages ago they were partnering with kodak to work on projection technology. The main challenge they are trying to overcome is battery performance.

I think it was Samsung who announced a projector phone. Only to be beaten to the market by one of those chinese companies!

Those crazy chinese guys if they'd only develope their own frikin phones rather than ripping off everyone elses they might actually sell some, they have some good ideas. I see the projector as initially being a quick flash to show a picture, but ultimately being an actual display. |
