Was Chris going to walk again? (Emmerdale mystery)

Does anybody remember that storyline earlier this year, where Zoe got Chris to get back on a horse again after all those years?

I remember thinking that there must have been a point to this story. Then soon after my mum said that she saw in The Sun that Chris was going to fall off the horse.

This then made us think that he perhaps would get his legs back again, not before time.

But then the storlyine was dropped and nothing more mentioned about it.

Was this going to happen? It's all a bit of a mystery.

What, so he was supposed to fall off the horse and that would get his legs working, is that what you mean? LOL! Like some old toy being kicked into life...

But really, I'm not sure there was any point to it...MAYBE there was, but when they found out he was leaving they decided to scrap it.

I'm not convinced that it was that storyline but it was intended that Chris was going to walk again...and then the idea was discarded...and discarded again...and then it was ultimately deemed that they'd left it far too long and a "miracle" cure just wouldn't happen.

So no, I don't think that storyline would've been started because of that - I think the biggest chance Chris had was back in the 90s when he kept going to America for treatment.
