Probably my favourite episode so far. At first I was disappointed by the lack of our lovely Doctor, but the acting of Bernard Cribbins and the two girls more than made up for that.

A riveting episode - great. Catherine Tate has earned her wings, Billie was better than ever and Dr Who now right up there with the best Sci Fi shows in my book.

Loved it, loved it, loved it! Can't wait for next week... and the week after... and the week after...

Absolutely agree. I was hooked from start to finish. Very cleverly written. Looks like everyone is in it next week inclusing the whole of the Torchwood crowd!! Roll on The Stolen Earth next Saturday!

REALLY? I thought it was a bit of a let down til the last 30 seconds or so, not helped though by Ms. Piper's loss of ROse's accent.

It was just excellent - best episode yet.

I loved the ep but I did notice Rose's accent was gone. lol

AND THEN SOME!!! That was a powerhouse performance from Catherine Tate!!!

Have to admit I was a little let down after last week but, it was a great way to re-introduce Rose. Next week's finale could either be the best episode ever or a massive anti-climax. I don't really rate the Welsh woman in Torchwood and hope they don't give her too big a part.

It was an excellent Act I to the three part finale! Loved it.

i loved it and i thought billie and catharine tate were excellent, also loved the ending when he ran out and bad wolf was written everywhere i was half expecting rose to be stood in the tardis, but it was my fave episode of the series so far.

Yes it's an excellent story. Reminded me of the best Star Trek alternate universe stories. Probably too much for younger children to be honest.

I think I'm in it next week..after all everybody else seems to be!

I'll see you in the credits then . You may be right about being too much for younger children to understand. I'm not fully sure that I did either, but they would enjoy some of the concepts, like all the stars going out and the beetle on the back thing.

I think good Dr Who should always be a little too much for younger children - they like it like that

Yes come to think about it when I first started watching DW I never had a clue what was going on but watched it anyway!

I thought it was brill. I loved Cribbins crying about the 'labour camps'.

I always feel the closing episodes of the series get rammed up many notches.

When was the title revealed as The Stolen Earth? There has been this big secrecy surrounding this ep 12 title for weeks now. I just looked at the Sky EPG for next Saturday to find out. I thought there would be some big announcement on here about it. Was it revealed earlier in the week?

I think Roses character has grown a lot. Shes got no accent no more, shes more confident and im sure she cracked a few jokes

I really didn't like Rose AT ALL in this episode. I'm not really keen on her at all actually. She seemed to speak a bit "goofy" several times during the episode for some strange reason and she's lost her accent. On the whole, I thought her acting was a bit rubbish...

The plot was interesting though and not unlike the sort of plot arc I was expecting
