I would like to say a huge thank-you to everyone who has sent me fan-mail, e-mailed me and to those who have been very supportive on the various Big Brother forums, particularly the official Big Brother forums and those at bigbro4.com (jonsgeekarmy.com), talkbigbrother.com and Digital Spy.

Things are still very hectic, particularly now that I am back at work, so I haven't had an opportunity to reply to any fan-mail, although I hope to do so soon. Strangely, I don't have any suitable photographs to sign (as many have requested) so I will call Channel Four and ask them for some official Big Brother shots - although not, of course, the one where they put red lipstick on me! By the way, there wasn't a mirror at that photo shoot, so I had no idea I was going to look that ridiculous!

I haven't made any posts on any forums (so don't believe those people claiming to be me) but I have been lurking and reading a number of threads. My favourite so far is the Digital Spy forum, "Cameron Stout : A psychological assessment". It's fascinating reading, and whilst I don't agree with every post, there are many which make a lot of sense.

I hope that someone will e-mail me to let me know why posts stopped appearing on the thread. As it stands I can only imagine that the very last post by I_mac was so good that there was no possible reply. Knowing the production team as I do, I don't think that the show was fixed, but the entire thread is very interesting and certainly gives pause for thought.

There is one point that you should bear in mind when reading the thread: the last post was written on 27th June 2003. Four and a bit weeks into the show and some people had already predicted that Cameron would win. As the man himself would say: "Phenomenal!"

Lots of love to you all,

Jon

Sorry Jon,.....but you may think you know the production team,..I'm sure that they're very nice to you.

But as much as you may have thought you knew other HMs, you got it wrong on many occasions.
There's no reason why you should simply trust some strangers who are making a TV show.

You must be very naive if you think everything on BB4 just happens by chance.
Jon, you have to realise that the editing is as powerful a way of acheiving a certain outcome,..as much as features on the surrounding BB4 shows.

You might think that you know a lot Jon,...but there's much you don't.

If you're reading Jon, congatulations, you were great, and will be remembered as the character that stood out from a houseful of predictable people.(barring one or two exceptions).

Best of luck with the Science show, and I hope things work out well for you.

It's true Jon...The producers are manipulative tossers with an a agenda of their own.......

Can someone find the thread he's talking about?

I think it must have been about the only thread I didn't contribute to

Hee.

Despite what my fellow Creek fan Jon thinks, I'm sure the majority of people here believe the show was strongly edited in Cameron's favour - and he won as a direct result of this. No-one is suggesting that they actually rigged the voting, but there is no doubt in my mind that Cameron was the preferred winner of TPTB. And I still think Cameron's a complete tosser.

That's really cool he took the time to put something together. It's even cooler that he lurks here.

Agreed 100%. The worst thing about Cameron, aside from his implicitly violent bitchiness (or "silly remarks said in the heat of the moment" according to some deluded Cam fan) is his tendency towards "wow-wee"/"it's magic" responses coupled with similar body language like some arrested 32-year-old manchild. I find him to be a seriously unpleasant piece of work.

Jon, on the other hand, continues to rise in my estimation. His acknowledgement of the support given to him by the Internet fan community and his very good-natured, diplomatic and gracious remarks are heartening and admirable. We did back a winner after all! Mr. Tickle, you are a class act.

I_mac, there's nothing I can add to that. You've voiced my opinions perfectly.

Jon, if you read this you HAVE to meet my other-half at some point - I am CONVINCED he is the long lost triplet you never knew you had!

He chatted me up by telling me all about how software for digital TV receptors work, and is still convinced to this day that he just needs to whisper in my ear the words "digimux box" or "want me to show you my druid" to turn me on . He has a fantastic collection of Star Wars Lego that I'm sure you and he would have many hours of bliss discussing .

Anyway, I think you were/are fab (s'pose I oughta really seeing as I'm marrying your triplet! ) and hope all goes well for you in the future.
