is this tv good as it has 50000/1 contrast ratio

or should i go for another make more common, with a high contrast ratio as the ratio is how u get the blackest blacks and whitest whites isn't it ?

Ignore contrast ratios, there's no fixed standard method of measuring it, so you can't compare them.

Go and look at the sets, and see which YOU prefer.

Take Nigels advice but this particular set is not known to be one of the best for Blacks.

well i have decided to go with this telly can anyone recommend the cheapest price please as i have found it on the internet for £550.00 ???
