going by final night votes, I make it (in millions):

1. Brian 4.231
2. Craig 3.825
3. Anna 3.675
4. Kate 3.106
5. Helen 2.68
6. Jonny 2.244
7. Cameron 1.928
8. Alex 1.817
9. Ray 1.428
10. Jade 1.404
11 Scott 0. 786
12. Dean 0.269
13. Steph 0.196

dont know what Darrens figure is (very low). Technically, I suppose Elizabeth could be included too, since she was evicted on a popularity vote but I couldnt find her figures anyway.

I trust this info is extremely useful. Do with it as you see fit

That's Saturday's lottery numbers sorted.

Pity we can't get hold of some accounts figures too. I wonder if the E4 ticker and copious E4/BBLB text-polls bridged the gap caused by the lower voting turnout this year.

That Cameron is a poor excuse for a winner........?

Liz got 2% of the vote by the way...I'm sure they changed their schedules so the crowd wasn't all negative on the eviction night........It's also a certainty if they hadn't tried so hard to get Jon out so early their voting figures would have been much higher....shot themselves in the foot there........

Indeed. Endemol and Channel 4 have only themselves to blame for such a mediocre, dead in the water show this year.

Going off-topic for a moment.... I quite liked Elizabeth. I'd rather have had her than any of the remaining finalists this year.

I know some people thought she was boring, but she put the Shabby Crew to shame

You're not alone Edna, there is a small but dedicated bunch of us !!

Her votes, 2% as Mes says, is not really comparable as she left the day before the others and probably most votes are cast on the last day

Anyway in all the talk of biased editing Our Lizzie was one of the victims who suffered most at the hands of C4/Endemol/Tabloid gutter press

Her own 345 year old lover sold those pics of her to the press (oddly matching up with her application video)....and she was an evil stirrer.........And tried to split Helen and Whatsisname up........Shame on her........

Well, that's how the propaganda department portrayed her.......

Did you fall for it ?

I never watched BB2 but I cant see any harm or irritance in Elizabeth. I would probably find her quite personable. Shes a sort of flittery fluttery type by the looks.

I quite enjoyed looking at the pics of her touring Europe on her motorbike.

At the time I thought it was a bit much to sell those photos. I dunno - she didn't have a problem with nudity, but surely those were personal pics?

I know she got snappy with Helen towards the end and did put the boot in a couple of times about Paul - but for two women who had nothing whatsoever in common, it didn't go too badly

She was still more interesting than any of this year's finalists

Ah no...Those of us with the internet back then could watch it free on live feed....That evil witch was exactly as she was portrayed....And the way said "Awwwwwwwww" with that wonky mouth of hers made me see red for some reason......

thanks for that Goodfella.

Although as usual with stats, interpretation should be treated with caution. ie, Does not take into account the different length of voting period for different placed HMs. (Besides bearing in mind the distorting and potentially misleading effect of multiple voting as a reflection of 'popularity').

For example, Alex probably had more votes than Cameron when lines closed at the same stage of voting. Likewise Jade almost certainly had more votes than Ray, and possibly even Cameron (ie at the time of Steph's eviction).

Also even between contestants within the same series, although it may be likely to be the case, we cannot be entirely sure that the final ranking order was the same throughout all stages of voting.

We watched it on E4 - that was back in the days when you got decent E4 coverage.

I find it interesting that Anna gained more votes than Kate.
She's still my favourite ever female contestant although I liked Helen too.

With the benefit of hindsight, Elizabeth was OK, certainly better than any of this years final 4.
I also loved Dean in BB2. He had a very dry wit and used to really made me laugh.
The diary room clip when he was telling BB the lawnmower was broken had me in absolute stitches. Deadpan delivery and his Brummy accent. Classic!

I wonder how much the price of voting has affected the number of votes cast?
I'm pretty sure it was only 10p per vote in BB1 and 2 compared with 25p for the last two series.
Could anyone verify this?

Anna was sound but I was ok with Craig winning too.

Sadly Annas guitar tunes were wearisome on the ears Im convinced Craig was lying when he said "thats my fav one Anna"

could she not just have done singalong songs. Wake up girl !!!!

guitar players take note. Keep it simple and upbeat. Stefan on BBAfrica knew a trick when he did a 4 beat version of "I guess thats why they call it the blues". Cameron almost came

It's too late to have regrets ,unless anyone knows how I can become a born-again virgin?

I only hope Cameron and his future bride don't have unrealistic expectations 'cos I can't imagine there'll be thunderclaps, lightning strikes or any orchestras playing when the fishy one finally succumbs to his carnal desires.

Sorry Ben, didn't mean to put you off your beer

It is a fairly unpleasant thought, I agree.

I didn't want to contemplate Cameron playing with himself, but I wonder if he'd yell out "That was BRILLLLIANT!" when he got there? or perhaps "That was flipping marvellous!"

I think I'd better let Goodfella's comment stand without a response.

Returning to the thread topic, or a variation. Does anyone know how many votes were cast for Jon to go back in? I know he got 62% of the vote, but it would be interesting to see the numbers. (I was on hols that week (in Cyprus actually!) so I didn't vote.
