what is going on here?!!!
May have missed big chunks here, but wasn't Mr. speilburg the one who everyone was begging to give us information, and most of the information was indeed correct? ... the tip offs, the things that happened after a show?
If he was Steve, then it would explain why he had so much info...but he is hardly likely to say "Hey I am Jodie's fiancee" is he? Also I felt any postings he made were quite fair across all the girls, he did not show favouritism, so I don't know about this one.

i'm not sure either, he did seem very fair but jodie was definitely his fav, thats the impression i got anyway, i always thought mr speilberg seemed quite nice anyways, and as you said gave loads of great info

How could he have been so in the know? This is what I'm thinking. He knew alorra lorra of the girls songs unless when him and Jodie spoke on the phone she'd always say what the others were singing.

I imagine it would have come up in conversation. *shrug* Whether or not it's true it does kinda make sense, but I'm not going to go and read back over Mr S's posts so that I can find out. Maybe we should ask Playhousechick? She was an insider too! ...unless she's secretly Jessie's mum or Sarah's Nan!

I think, though, the issue is not really that indeed her privaqte leife is her private life, is it more whether she used the whole scenario as a means of getting what she wanted? It is a bit of the "sob story type routine, except it wasn't quite a sob - don't quite know what to call it? "Something that would grab the nation "- type story?

I can understand the PR side that the BBC would play up on........remember Jodie doesnt have control of what the BBC put out. And I dont actually remember it being mentioned much on the show except at the time of it happening. I did notice however that the bodyl anguage of Jodies parents to him had changed. Plus at the final Jodie thanked her parents....not him. Plus it was him who is speaking to the papers.......not her

to be fair jodie made it a pr thing herself, by announcing how many dates she had been on etc with him at the auditions
Their relationship did seem all a bit too good to be true.

No none of them have control of what they put out.
I remember on HDYSAPLM, when one of them was saying all these horrible things about the other Maria's, how they weren't any good.

Just been reading through some of the posts by Mr.Spielberg and I think it's safe to say most of us probably did fall for the 'BBC worker who was exceptionally good for giving us great spoilers'. I find it a bit sad/creepy that if it is Steve then he would lie so easily. In the profile bit it says he is a she, 24 and now working in Hairspray. Why do people do things like this?
